Hegarty Plumbing has now helped me multiple times and I will only using these guys for my plumbing needs going forward. They are quick to respond and get your work scheduled and show up when they say they will, fixing any problems quickly. When they come and work in your house, you can confidently expect pros doing the best job possible. Highly recommend.

Their work is excellent and they always respond promptly — even on weekends and holidays when needed. Billing is prompt (and conveniently online) and has always been true to their original estimate. Gerry and his team are wonderful - they helped with my complete bathroom renovation, removing radiators, replacing a garbage disposal, setting up my washer/dryer, and installing a brand new heat/ac split system. Great people and amazing work I am so thankful for them! I have a dream house in a great amount of time and everything is perfect.

I have used Hegarty plumbing since moving to Quincy in 2017. I cannot say enough good things about Gerry and Joan. Throughout the years in our multi family property we have had things come up between plumbing, hvac, leaks you name it. I use them for just about everything.
Whenever I reached out to Gerry or Joan they would respond immediately whether it be a call or text. Gerry would usually come over within the same day if not emergent we would schedule a time. They go above and beyond. They are reasonable with pricing very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Hegarty plumbing to anybody in the area.

Just recently I had a issue with the tenants AC not working. The following day was going to be well over 95°. I reached out to Gerry and within five minutes he called and said he was on his way within the next couple hours. My schedule can be crazy with work and sometimes I’m not able to be there, but I always trust Gerry and know he would never overcharge and will always fix what needs to be fixed. It’s hard to find honest people these days who are reliable and when you find one it’s great.

Trying to find a good plumber in Southie is like trying to find a red rose in the Sahara. In exasperation after two very unhappy experiences with people who started by calling the heater's helpline my daughter asked me to help find someone to fix her water heater. I called a retired plumber and his advice lead me to Gerry. He came the next day. He actually knew how to run the machine. He tested it, replaced a valve and now we are in business again but much more importantly we can sleep at night knowing there will be hot water in the morning.
He may not be as pretty as a red rose but he can solve your plumbing problems.

They did an amazing job on our basement renovation and new heat/hot-water system. Everyone who came to the house was professional, respectful and courteous. The workmanship is high quality throughout and they came back quickly to replace a defective valve. We received multiple prices for the renovation and they were the most cost effective and also proved to be consistently on time throughout the process. We highly recommend them.

I called Hegarty after I noticed a leak from the knob located inside our basement for the spigot outside. The leak was substantial and with our leave for vacation planned for less than 12 hours later, I truly needed a miracle. Well that miracle was Gerry. Answered his emergency line immediately and promptly showed up to my house an hour later. He figured out the problem and fixed it within no time. Unbelievably professional and nice, and truly saved us from an enormous headache! 1000% would use Hegarty for any and all my plumbing needs in the future.

Hegarty has done all of the heating/plumbing work on my new house which includes installation of new gas hot water heaters and they are currently working on replumbing an entire unit on the second floor. Gerry has been incredibly responsive to any issues/emergencies that arise regarding plumbing issues. In addition, the building inspectors and all other plumbers have commented on how well done the installation of the new units was completed. 100% impressed and I will continue to use them for future projects.

Gerry and co. completed a full plumbing job for me which was a new kitchen and bathroom in South Boston. The work was completed in an extremely timely fashion. They were always there when they said they'd be, they completed the work the correct way the first time, and kept me in the loop throughout the process.
