I am healthcare aid for an elderly couple who had a plumbing issue to deal with. Harris said they would come by a certain day. They never showed up and didn't return my call. Obviously, they have no integrity or professionalism. Will never call again.

I noticed my water heater leaking a few days before a big snowstorm. I got a few estimates and decided to go with R Harris Plumbing. They weren't very friendly or polite over the phone but they came recommended so I hired them and they seemed to do a professional job.

However, about a day after installation it became clear the water was not heating properly. I called them and the person on the phone told me they'd be out to look at it 3 days later at a certain time. They missed the scheduled time, arrived about 5 hours later. I must say I was not completely surprised. The few interactions I had with them on the phone left me suspect if they would show up. They came across as being not really interested, but we'll do you a favor and come out and look at the problem type attitude. When they finally showed up they wanted $880 to reinstall another hot water heater under warranty. No thanks. Was forced to call another contractor.

Call someone else and save yourself a big headache. People are rude and arrogant. Much better out there to deal with.

I know that the cold weather causes real logistics issues, but they scheduled a visit to my house first thing in the morning. After a follow-up call due to ongoing freezing they rescheduled me to the next day, first thing in the morning. They never showed, they never called and the next information I got was an option to add myself to their waiting list. So, welcome to the back of the queue after their failure to show up.

I will not be giving them another chance. I only tried R Harris because they got back to me first. Next time I will wait - a plumber who shows up when they say they will is worth 20 who do not.

about a job. received a response within hours. They showed up as promised and did a fantastic job! I have had several friends use them as well who are extremely happy! Appreciate Rob & all his guys!

I called first thing in the morning and they were able to give me a quote over the phone which was very reasonable. They came out within a few hours and did great work. Highly recommend

I contracted R. Harris to install my gas range. They had to tap in to my existing gas furnace line and install a feed for the stove. I was very impressed at how fast they were and the attention to their work detail was beyond what I was used to. Not that is will happen every time they came in a bit under the quote and my budget. I plan on using R. Harris for my furnace issues too. TOP NOTCH!

We met Rob when he came with our basement project contractor. We had learned from our oil company that our tank had a leak and needed to be replaced.
After a few quotes, Rob came in right at the going rate and we felt comfortable with his opinions as to where to relocate our tank considering our basement renovation. He was able to be flexible with his schedule as this was an emergency situation with the cold weather still a factor.
Rob and his associate Bob did a fantastic job on the oil tank relocation! It looks great and fits our needs making more room for the basement. (He was able to put in our garage). Bob even came out the day before when we ran out of oil to restart our boiler as the tank ran low.
We look forward to working with him when he comes back to finish off the bathroom and laundry room this spring.

This place stinks. We need something done in our downstairs bathroom. Called these guys up ok Tuesday and they didn't respond till Wednesday around 11:00, gee thanks!!! So we agreed on a time for them to come and check it out. We agreed on Thursday from 2-4 and well they never showed up. We thought we had the wrong time or maybe they did... Left them a bunch of messages and not one return. I will definitely not use these people in the future. Ended up finding someone else and thank goodness we did! Wow! Just wow!
