Gibbs Heating & Air Conditioning

The company sent a contracted person not a Gibbs employee. They don't charge per the hour. When asked how they charge labor, I was informed its not per the hour but they can't tell me how the number is generated. I was charged $415 for one hour. No parts were replaced, no wires replaced, no parts ordered.

I was charge $35 randomly (misc) charge.

I called for an explanation of the charges. They said it takes 5 business days to get a receipt. The itemized receipt provided no explanation of what work was done nor an explanation of any charges. It only had the price.

I was not given an estimate.

The charge on my card was not from Gibbs.

After they admitted not disclosing the pricing she said "Well why did you pay for it? If it was too much you should've just refused to pay"

This is the company you are choosing to deal with when you pick Gibbs.

I received a quote from another company to fix my AC and was horrified to hear that the unit could not be repaired. I called Gibbs Heating & Air Conditioning for a second opinion and was incredibly happy both with setting up the appointment and my interactions with the service technician. Jeff seemed to know what the problem was just from our brief phone conversation and had my unit working in 20 minutes. You guys have gained a customer for life!

I was highly impressed with the level of knowledge, professionalism and pride that the crew at Gibbs Heating & Air Conditioning had. They were very easy to work with and not to mention very hard working. I had four other estimates before I chose Gibbs Heating & Air Conditioning. They notice something that no one else mentioned. The issue was quite involved. But I guess what you expect from people who take pride in their work! Something you don't see much of any more. I will hire them again.

Gibbs Heating & Air Conditioning technicians installed 2 AC new units for my home several years ago. I have maintained a yearly service contract with them ever since. All their technicians have been very professional. They completely check both the outside units and under the house units twice a year. Tom came out today and did an excellent job. Thank you so much. I fully recommend this company. They set up the date and time of their next visit before they leave my home.

He was diplomatic, skilled and punctual. He identified our problem and got us back in business in 60 minutes. Massive service!!

Our furnace needed quick replacement due to malfunction. We called several companies and Gibbs was the first company to respond. They provided clear information and the most competitive price. No sales pressures at all. The installation of our new furnace was done a few days later. Prompt, professional service at a very competitive price. Highly recommend.

Called Gibbs Heating & Air Conditioning in a panic within a very short notice. James came out and fixed my HVAC quickly and expertly. He did it in a timely, was very personable and the experience was spectacular. I will be using his services again and again. I recommend!

Nothing but great reviews. From booking the appointment, to getting a technician, took about an hour. The technician came actually before the appointment which was great. He came and within minutes he figured out the issue. Now the air conditioner is up and running again. I would definitely be calling them again if needed.
