Needed my air conditioning looked at before running it this season and they were able to get me in ASAP! Not only did they have great customer service, but he also was able to talk me through a few different settings on my thermostat. I wasn’t able to work. He took the time to make sure I was able to work it as well as made sure it processed correctly. I also was unaware of wires that were damaged and they were in ahead and fix those as well! Thank you Kallas! Love knowing I have a reliable company!

We have used Kallas as our go-to HVAC company since we moved to Swartz Creek 4.5 years ago. They installed our central AC in 2020 and have fixed our furnace a few times. They do an excellent job and always come within 24hours when we’ve called. Dave the service tech is knowledgeable and cares about his customers. He always explains and answers all my questions so I understand what the issue was and how he fixed it. There was one time over the last winter when our furnace went out. It was a Friday and Dave said he couldn’t get the part in until Monday but didn’t want us to freeze so he left and came back with his own personal electric heater for us to use until he could get our furnace fixed. We appreciated his efforts going above and beyond. You can tell they really care about their customers and worry about the customers best interest. This is why we are repeat customers and refer business to them whenever I can. I highly recommend Kallas to anyone needing HVAC services. A+++

Rob was awesome- I just want to say thank you soooo much for taking care of us. He came out the same day after our CO alarm was going off and he was very knowledgeable. He filled us in on everything that was happening with our system and what the plan was forward.
Customer service on point and good pricing on services. He showed us exactly where cracks were in our system with no issue at all and quickly drew up a reasonable quote for a new furnace to be installed the next day. Thank you so much! 10/10 would recommend!

This happened in the winter but I thought I should share my experience. Our carbon monoxide detector went off and we had no idea what to do. I called Kallas because they were local and they advised us on what to do and had someone to our house within 2 hours. The tech fully tested and inspected our furnace and determined it was not the cause. I don't know if this is industry standard, but they showed concern for our safety and didn't charge us at all. I will definitely be calling them next time we need heating and cooling service.

Tech said the heat exchanger was defective & not covered by a warranty. Said I needed a new furnace. Another company said it was still covered, checked it & found it was functioning perfectly. It cost $250.00 to remove/check & replace the original heat exchanger. If this is how Kallas runs their local business, I would avoid them & call Staley’s in Flushing.

Very rude and disrespectful. Do not do business with this company at all!!!

August 2016, had a nasty noise coming from the a/c unit outside, Jack came out fast, bad motor, was replaced a few days later and I will say they were the most pleasant people to work with! Will definitely call first if I need any a/c or heating again! Excellent experience with them!

I was told by another company that my furnace was shot and I needed to buy a new one. A friend said to get a second opinion from Kallas. I'm glad I did. They fixed my furnace for aroung $200! They saved me a great deal of money.

My dad purchased an unit from Kallas in March 2014. They made it through what remained of the cold weather season without incident, however by December of 2014, their heat began frequently going out. Kallas sent their guy out who cleaned it out and said it was repaired. The winter was fairly mild and the furnace seemed to lag in low fire a bit, as they suspected. Kallas assured them all was well. When the cold temps hit again in the next winter the unit went out, again. Kallas came back out, cleaned it out, said it was still not lagging, but operating in hi-fire. In December 2016, they lost all heat during the cold snap. They contacted Kallas, as the unit was still in warranty. The manager refused to service the unit. He said his guy who serviced that type of unit left the company. My parents, who had no power right before Christmas, were denied warranty work and left freezing with their two year old $5,000.00 unit. They called another company to come repair it. That company struggled with a diagnosis, but replaced a part and the unit went into low fire, enough to sustain heat unless frigid temps hit. The board wasn't getting proper power, per the new tech, but if the board was the problem, it was a $1,000.00 repair. Without Kallas upholding their warranty, this was a repair my parents needed to hold off on. 2017 brought negative temps and like clock work, my parents unit went out, leaving senior citizens with no heat. Kallas wouldn't do anything, despite the unit still being under warranty. They called the other company back. The company worked with the manufacturer to get a diagnosis. After many days without heat and the techs returning, it was discovered that Kallas installed the unit wrong, against manufacturer's instructions. This wasn't per the tech, but the manufacturer. The tech corrected the installation issues and, problem solved, but several hundreds of dollars later at my parents expense. It seems Kallas switched ownership a couple years ago and it's not the original owner, Al. Al sent the service tech out. It was the new ownership who told my parents, "Tough luck." Please beware. Their our a lot of HVAC companies servicing this area and it seems this ones customer service has deteriorated with the changing of hands.
