American heating and cooling came right out with the most polite techs I’ve dealt with in my 25 years of construction. Fixed my furnace the same day I called. I was exeptionaly happy with the price of the repair. This was old fashioned servervice that I thought didn’t exist anymore!!

We have a home warranty service through Sears Home Warranty and America Heating and Cooling is the only HVAC company that works for this warranty company . BAD choice on both services. We had a NO HEAT at our home and Dennis came out to our place the next day, got here a little before us and called my wife and said I am hear and I have a very busy schedule today. We were only a few minutes behind him. “ I am sure you are but We are your customer at this moment “
Comes in and not sure if he knows how to read codes on the board that were flashing, but all he does is sands the flame sensor and says it all fixed. I asked him are you sure and he says yes. Dennis then says if it goes out just call us back and leaves. We both leave to go back to work and come home to a cold house so we called Lori at American Htg & Clg and she says you need to call your warranty company, so Dennis laid.
Call the the warranty company and they tell me they will have someone call me in 24 to 48 hours. No call all day Saturday.
The Code on the furnace was a 42 witch is a inducer motor . He didn’t want to take the time to fix that, that is my opinion.
Long story short I fixed my own furnace and wouldn’t RECOMMEND EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES TO ANYONE!

I had American Heating and Cooling come over to my house and fix my furnace. I was very pleased with the service. Dennis and his helper were very helpful and fixed my furnace within ten minutes. I recommended them to my neighbor and she was also very happy with the service. I would recommend American Heating and Cooling to anyone who asks me.

Very pleased with the service. I called with an issue last night that caused my basement to flood from my water heater, Dennis told me what I could do to take care of the problem until he could come out first thing in the morning. He saved me a lot of head ache and a lot of money, not only was he here in the early AM to fix the water heater but the price beat all of the other companies that I’ve called previously. Very happy with the service and I will recommend this business to other friends and family!

Our furnace went out,had them come out.Dennis came said it would be over $800. So next morning when he came over he said it would be an extra 240 for hoses that had rotted. my furnace went out that nite. I called them where very rude. don;t use and wont recommend them to anyone

Had these people do some warranty work for us, was rude to my wife, employee chain smoked on our property and threw his cigarette butt in our landscaping and removed it, only after he saw that my wife was watching. They were there a total of 20mins and half of that time was in their van. How to properly diagnose the A/C's current issues in that time is beyond me. I called the warranty company to switch service companies and the owner of American Heating and Cooling called me to complain about my complaint. Assured me he was the best that they had and that he's never had a problem in 30 years. I've had better service by newer companies and $10/hr workers.

If you want someone professional or someone that will be friendly and give proper explanation of services, don't use these guys.

We have used American Heating and Cooling twice in the last year and they seemed to be pretty good. The first time we had great service and everything went really well.

The second time (2 weeks ago) the tech seemed to be a little snippy and when I was asking some intelligent questions about what and why he wanted to do what he was doing he was not able to answer me. He initally told me that he was going to replace the circuit board (I'm pretty sure that's what he said) and it was going to be $395. I then made it clear that we were going to have a problem if the furnace still did not work after replacing the circuit board. He then said "well maybe I'll check the thermostat too." This really did not go well with me. Why didn't he think of this the first time? It was only after he realized that I was not going to be taking any crap that he thought about what he was doing.

Both times the techs came out they were professional and on time.

So overall I think they did a good job... but here I am 3 weeks after the thremostat was replaced and the furnace has broke down again. It might be the circuit board, but I have decided to go with another company. It all just seems a little sketchy to me.

Just not professional. I was shocked by some of the things service rep said to me. Also when I called in (after hours) they seemed like they were trying to talk me out of having the service (it was an extremely cold day). We ended up paying a little extra and going with a better company

I've never used their services but after one of their vans almost run me off the road and witnessing the reckless way they drove I would never let them in my house.
