When I needed my furnace replaced a few years ago (2009) they were the only ones that called me back. Boy am I glad they did. They replaced my furnace fast. When I needed central air installed they were who I called. Again, answered the call immediately and installed fast. Now another problem and again called me within 5 minutes of my message left. They are very competent,quick,fast and most of all they explain the problem in full and are honest in giving you options on the repair. I will never go anywhere else. I had scheduled a routine cleaning of my furnace through the utility company and before I knew it my furnace was being red tagged and shut down. In the middle of winter. I called Krause Heating & Cooling and had a new furnace installed in just 24 hours.

My furnace went out while it was single digits. Had someone out to repair the furnace but, wasn't fixable. Knowing nothing about furnaces, I started to do some research. Needless to say, I'm so glad I called Krause H&C. Very professional, didn't pressure at all, very friendly and informative. Called and spoke with Bill regarding that the furnace went out in my house and asked me what type of furnace I had. I explained to him what was going on and the type of furnace I had. He let me know upfront that he did not carry or stock any parts for my current furnace and gave me a number to another company to call to come look at it to save me some money. He asked that I call and let him know what’s going on with my furnace after speaking to the other company and their findings. I called the other company and they came out and told me I needed a new furnace as they could not get the parts to fix it. I called Bill back to let him know the situation and explained I needed a new furnace. I sent him the information he asked for and called me back with all the information for pricing and installation. He said it was going to be a couple days due to the holiday to get it installed. He borrowed me some heaters for the home and also called me on their day off to check on my situation and if I needed anything more. They showed up right as they were supposed to and got the job done. Highly recommend them for any and all projects.

I had Krause Sheet Metal and Heating put in a new gas forced-air furnace for me and couldn’t have been happier. This company knows what service, integrity, and professionalism are all about and its commitment to customer care is evident in every step of its relationship with you. I sought bids from Krause and one competitor before replacing my furnace. The other company walked into my home determined to sell me a particular furnace and didn’t budge, even when the design features of my home meant that the furnace they had preselected wasn’t the best choice. Krause, on the other hand, took a look at my heating needs, including not just the size of my home, but some unique features in how the vents and cold air returns were installed. Based on these factors, Krause put together a bid that specifically addressed my heating needs. Both companies sold comparably rated furnaces, but Krause’s bid came in significantly lower. Yet, because of my confidence in the care with which the work was done to prepare the bid, I would have chosen Krause even if it had been higher. Also, as Krause is a union shop, I was prepared for a higher bid price. I personally was ok with paying more if it meant its employees were being paid fairly. That Krause came in as low bid was just a bonus.

Krause continued to do the types of things that showed I made a good decision: they located and provided paperwork on rebates; touched base each step of the way to see if I had questions; knew a certain “install by” date was important to me and, despite the busy time of year (December), managed to fit me in. The furnace installers were prompt, courteous, clean in their work, and explained everything to me I needed to know. They pointed out their number and that they were available 24/7 if I had problems. Bill Krause followed up with a phone call later that day to see if I had any questions. No one enjoys spending money on something like a furnace, but Krause made it painless and left me with a good feeling about a local business. I’ve already had the opportunity to recommend them since my furnace was installed, and it felt great to know I could do so without any reservations whatsoever.
