John Martucci and his expert crew have always been there when we needed them. When my 82 year old mother in law lost her AC John gave a great price to replace the system, which was old, and had it done in 1 day. They worked very hard, all day , in a tight space.
Just recently I needed John to clear up some inspection items that were required due to the pending sale of her home. He came the next day with 2 men and fixed everything in 2 hours. A great job again
I strongly recommend him and Central Jersey Mechanical HVAC .I trust them completely.

John, Jimmy, Brandon and even smiley are great people. John, the owner, originally came out when I couldn't figure out an issue with my furnace. He built a great relationship when he came out and you could tell he was an honest and fair man.

This summer my AC went out, since I had an old unit, a r22 freon that is no longer being made, I had no choice but to replace my unit.

I originally was looking for a much more expensive unit but John downsold me! Most salesman want you to buy the bigger, more expensive unit, but John was realistic and convinced me to get a more modest unit since the savings I'll get will outshine any savings I'll even get for a more expensive unit. That speaks volumes on the type of business John runs! He's not trying to up sell you, he's trying to get you the unit he would recommend to his family.

I am extremely happy with the service John and his crew provided. I would highly recommend them. There are 2 poor reviews for on here for John. Not sure what experience they had, but seems like it might be some fake reviews. The other great reviews express the same experience I had and agree with.

John is fantastic! When my A/C system went down he came out immediately to identify the problem and had my air working the following day! Fast forward a few months later and while on the final walk through just before closing on my new home, I discovered the A/C system was no longer working. John again came out immediately as I was driving to the closing and told us they system needed to be replaced. He gave me a fair and reasonable quote to replace the entire system and really saved the day as we were purchasing our new home. The sellers agreed to cover the cost and if it wasn't for him being so fast to come out I would have been out of pocket on 100% of the job.

John, Brandon, and Jimmy arrived the following morning and got us up and running right away. They were all kind, professional, and explained how long everything was going to take.

Between the great customer service and always being prompt to respond I will be a customer for life. Thanks again John, Brandon, and Jimmy!

John installed a new unit after our old one broke entirely. He answered my call on a weekend, and showed up on Monday morning on time. He installed the new unit timely, addressed each of the issues that came up through the process, and followed up multiple times with me to check to make sure that everything was still working. Very fair price as well.

Great! I was given a good price and they stuck to that price. There were no add on's or hidden costs. John was very honest about everything. The job was done timely and efficiently. John was always available to answer any and all questions. John and the crew went above and beyond and everything exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend them for any job.

We had to have our flashings on our roof replaced. We contacted Central Jersey Mechanical HVAC on a Friday; the owner, John M. showed up on Saturday, gave us a detailed explanation of all the work that would be performed. The quote was VERY reasonable. The workers showed up on a Wednesday and all work was performed beyond excellent. Neat, professional, honest and very reasonable. Had my both heat and air conditioning system replaced by these guys. Came in almost $2,000 less than two of the other "big guys". Clean, neat, Very professional, and courteous. Would highly recommend to my family, friends, and neighbors. I called at 5am, before I left for work, thinking I would get a service or machine... SHOCKED was answered by the boss himself. Truly provide 24 hour service !!!!

Called them at 6am got a "real person" on the phone who sounded pleasant and awake (surprising) after we lost our heat. They were here at 1:00 sharp (managed to light our pilot miraculously) same day with a diagnosis, the next day the part arrived and was fixed. Polite, prompt and honest service.

I am sorry to say I had a bad experience which has forced me to warn others about using this service. Last week the unusually warm weather caused our AC unit to suddenly stop working. I called and made an appointment for the next day at 2:00 pm. The next day, shortly after 2:00 pm I got a call saying they were running late, but on their way, as they just finished lunch. They arrived at 2:55 pm, almost an hour late!

When they arrived I described the problem that I was experiencing, I was not getting cold air, and showed them the unit. After hooking up some pressure gauges to the unit they pronounced that the unit was dead almost immediately. They said the capacitor was shot (which turned out to be true) and that there was oil all over the place from the broken fan motor and compressor, which were both broken as well (which turned out not to be true). This confused me, as I told them the fan does spin, just not all the time, and we're getting air in the house, just not cold air. They said it's not worth repairing it at all.

They immediately quoted me for a new system and charged me $75 for the visit. The entire time they kept saying how they've been doing this for many years, and that they hate to make people spend more than they have to. I really have to question their honesty because of what happened next.

Thankfully, in describing this experience to a friend, they commented that is sounded fishy. They recommended a different HVAC company, who they use, to take a look. At this point I was ready to buy a new system, so I called them for a quote. Thankfully my patience paid off.

Based on my description of the issue they offered to inspect the unit before quoting me on a new system. They suspected the capacitor was the only problem. The leaking oil was from the blown capacitor, NOT the fan motor or compressor. They replaced the capacitor with one they had on-hand to see if this would resolve the issue. Sure enough, the unit sprang back to life. Blowing cold air and everything. The fan motor and compressor were working just fine!!

Therefore, I would caution anyone who has their unit inspected by this company. It is clear to me they mis-diagnosed my system and seemed all to eager to sell me a new system. I wish I had my $75 back.

In doing further research it looks like there are others who have had similar troubles with this company as well.
