Focus HVAC

I had Focus install a new AC & heat mini-split heat pump in my living room and upgrade my existing central AC unit to a heat and AC capable heat pump system.

The whole process from estimation (Bob P. was great) to installation (Brett and team) were excellent. Very respectful, unintrusive and to the point. They got it done quickly and professionally. Some of the small things like hiding the wires and lines and laying down drop cloths on the carpet were a help. They also contracted with a reputable electrician (Adam's Electric) and their guy Zach, was great.

They also made the financing through PSEG seamless and helped me go through multiple equipment options. Rebates were taken off the sale price and handled for me.

Quality job. Looking forward to the summer and cool air in the house again!

We called Focus to see if they could fix our existing ac unit. It was a lost cause. We had a very nice rep. Dan come talk to us about a new ac & heating system. He let us know about all the rebates & showed us 3 different options. The whole crew was great. From talking with us about our AC unit & the installers who were on time very professional & showed us what they did when it was all done. They took our old unit & cleaned up when they were finished. I have no complaints.
I will definitely keep their card & call them for yearly maintenance upkeep.

I recently had some issues with my A/C unit and Focus came out on a weekend night within about 2 hours from calling. They were able to quickly assess the issue. I ended up needing a new unit which they installed about 10 days from the call. Talk about fast and professional. It helps that they are reasonably priced and I got 0% financing through PSEG with Focus doing all the paperwork for me. Overall fantastic experience.

The tech from Focus was very knowledgeable and professional. We just moved into our house and didn’t know the AC system. He showed us the system, including filters and how and when to change them. We discussed maintenance schedules and potential replacement down the road.

I had thought my air conditioner would have to be replaced after a different HVAC company came out and couldn't find what was wrong. I got a second opinion from Focus and the tech, Paul, was able to find the issue and saved me a lot of money and sweat this summer. I'm very glad I had Focus come out and won't call any other company in the future.

Called Monday morning for A/c system not working at my Mom's house in Barrington, they showed up at 1:30 that same day! (1/2 hr early even) John Edwards looked at system, explained EVERYTHING to me in layman's terms, gave me pricing on what repairs would cost and performed the repairs without hesitation! VERY professional, EXTREMELY reasonable and most of all a PLEASURE to deal with! HIGHLY reccomend these guy's for any A/C or Heating needs ;)

Been working with Focus for a few years now. Recently I needed service for no heat. They came out that very morning and fixed my problem without an issue (just a dirty sensor). I’ll continue to use them for my HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

Brett and his associate were on time and very professional. Called for a leaking relief valve on furnace, Brett diagnosed and repaired it efficiently. Also checked rest of system to make sure everything working optimally. Very satisfied, would recommend to anyone needing HVAC service
