This company is 100% fraud - if you think they are doing your seasonal maintenance, I recommend you get someone else to quickly check your system.
On top of that, they also tried to defraud us into changing the entire unit (when one of their guys just turned off the switch on the unit itself) and kept us without A/C for months.
We are going to court with them now. Seriously, beware - they will ruin your entire system by lack of maintenance and maybe even maliciously damaging it on purpose to get you to replace it with them at a super inflated price.
Two other companies have come to see the units and were appalled at the level of disrespect these folks had for the equipment and how under serviced (for years) the units were. There were leaves, sand, ripped or lacking of insulation, ripped wires, coils are not covered with foil as needed, not taped, etc etc. See the horror photos of these conmen attached!
Oh and the best part, for months they left the filter out of the unit entirely. Exposing my family and myself to poisonous non-filtered air. Absolutely criminal!
From start to finish, dealing with Grant was top -notch. The guys arrived on time, were very courteous, professional, and really understanding. They went over every aspect of the install before they began, we looked at the area where ai wanted the condenser too go, they voiced some concerns, but assured me the could get it done. They were aware that I wanted the line sets run a certain way, but let me know that given where I wanted the condenser that may not be possible, When they realized that my desire to have the lines on the other side of the duct was not possible (given where I wanted two until outside), they showed me exactly why they couldn’t do that - and suggested that if I wanted the line sets to go there, they would have to move the condenser quite a bit closer to the front of the house - which they sensed I wouldn’t want. They explained ALL of the factors involved and let me make the final decision before drilling an unnecessary hole etc, Having had numerous crews in my home over the years, this was a really welcome change - it is rare that a crew shows such regard for the owner's desire. They simply explained my options, and let me make the choice, Aside from that, they were very, very, neat and clean and assured me that they would run the line sets very tight and neatly. Away from that, they also triple checked how I wanted the condenser to face, and showed me all the possibilities before placing the unit. In my experience this is very rare, Typically, a crew takes the easy way out, and then alerts me that “sorry but we did it this way…” In short, your crew was respectful of what I wanted, and did their best to accommodate my wishes. They were pleasant, courteous, and respectful of my home. After the install was finished, they made sure that I was happy with everything, showed me why they had to do things the way they did given my concerns, and left the area spotless. The unit was perfectly level, the lines were tight, they filled the gap in the wall, etc. The independent electrician also was fantastic - he was running a bit late, yet had the courtesy to call to alert me. His work was pristine. Looking at all of the wires and lines, and the meticulous nature with which they were installed, I am very impressed with all of the work. Again, I can’t say enough about the professionalism of the Grant crew. I had no doubt that Grant was the best choice for this job, and I am so happy with the result.
Just a quick note regarding you replacement of our central air conditioning unit yesterday. You're price was great. The young men you sent to my home to install the new equipment were outstanding. Very knowledgeable, and courteous as were you! Thank you for your a great experience
I have been dealing with Grant Heating and Cooling for 25 years. The other day I had a new heat pump and Air handler installed. The 2 techs who did the installation were Clean, knowledgeable, they went about there business in the most professional manner. The installation was completed in one day, they swept up, took away all the debris, overall just did a fabulous job. That is why I have continued to do business with them.
I’ve used Grant for 18 years. The service has been consistently outstanding. Always friendly, caring and knowledgeable service. They always make sure I understand what the problem is, how they are fixing it and tips for what I can do in between visits. Randy Zlobec is fantastic!
Three engineers all fixed/replaced things that didn't need fixing. Apparently it just needed a service. Was told be an ex employee that employees at this company are told to sell extras that people don't need. Thermostats, piping, etc. Tried to talk with the owner and he's avoided every email and phone call. I think they assume that due to the wealth of people in the Hamptons, they'll just pay the bill to stop getting them in the mail. Devious business model. I won't be using them again.

Tucked at the back of an alley, this is THE East Hampton any-time-of-day-or-night go-to pub with great food. Burgers - obviously, but also salads & comfort food: think omelets, cassoulet, local fish & chips. Bonus - Joe is the nicest bartender around so go ahead and eat at the bar and schmooze.
