We are very happy with our recent installation of a hybrid (electric/heat pump) hot water heater. They scheduled the installation within a week of us purchasing it. The installation crew was professional and courteous. They did a great job removing our old hot water heater and installing the new one.
Some staff has no idea what they are doing and how to correctly process transactions. We had a new piece of equipment installed with all required accessories. A few weeks after installation I received a call from Robison (plumbing department) stating that some accessories were not installed. They supposedly scheduled an appointment for Robison to come out to verify and they never showed up. I called to follow up twice and plumbing department never called back. Did they find out that everything actually was installed and never communicated to me…? Who knows. Also I was going to get reimbursed for a Gold plan but am still waiting for that to happen (few months later), I called four times and every time I’m asked for a credit card number where I want reimbursement to go and nothing happens. Very frustrating.
I am currently having 5 ductless mini splits (Bosch) installed by Robison. Tim Fernandez from sales came to my house and provided a timely quote and walked me through the whole process. The installers Chris, Matt and Eddie are knowledge about the product, installation process and respectful of our house. The installers took their time to ensure everything is in place correctly and helped coordinate with the electrician recommended by Robison. The process has been seamless and I would highly recommend Robison and the install team.
I had a boiler maintenance and the guy made the mistake of not turning the switch back on leading to the boiler not working. I called and he rectified that immediately. A couple weeks later I received two bills - one for the original maintenance visit and another one for fixing the mistake that they made. I called and complained and the guy has no customer service skills at all and said it is taken out. A couple weeks late I called again because it was not taken out. The female customer service said there is no record of me calling and said she has to ask for a manager to authorize the removal of the charge. I sure hope they remove this charge soon otherwise I am done with Robison. I will find another oil provider and boiler maintenance company If they don’t fix this.
3/23/2023 UPDATE: Robison finally took the charges out and admitted via email that these were charged in error. I’m happy they finally rectified their mistake although it is only after I called twice and after i submitted a 1 star review on google. Yes, overall Robison has been good with their service and that’s why I was disappointed that the first customer service person was not nice and did not do anything. Maybe Robison should hire better customer service personnel. Lastly I only gave 3 stars because of this and even without these issues, I will only give 4 stars anyway because they are definitely expensive compared to other oil providers.
Was quoted some basic plumbing work for 4 faucet replacements where I would be providing all of the parts for $2900 AFTER I was charged $400 for a simple toilet repair involving a flapper replacement. First, the wrong flapper was installed accomplishing nothing ($200 fir the visit; $200 for the ineffective “repair”). I found a highly competent plumber who did the 4 faucet replacements for $650! (I paid him $725 because I didn’t think he was being fair to himself)! Robison also failed to show fir the scheduled faucet job. Thank goodness! I was much better served by my new plumber and I am through with Robison.
The service technicians have responded quickly when I've had HVAC issues, and have been very diligent in making repairs. I also received prompt service when my hot water heater failed. I've been pleased, other than the occasional delay in getting an appointment for annual servicing. Overall, I've had a positive experience.
Robison Oil is a company that services its clients very well. We just had our annual boiler service. The technicians over the years have been knowledgeable, professional and always focused on appliance reliability. Todays service was no different. Just outstanding and pleasure to know one’s reliance on serviceis consistently met without exception.
On June 2 2023 Karen from Customer Service provided professional service!! That is why I've been a loyal customer for 29 years since 1994 ! Dominic the tech from service was outstanding awesome job!
I recently had a hot water leak in my tank and Robison came quickly, diagnosed what was wrong, and replaced my tank promptly, efficiently and neatly! The plumbers are very courteous and friendly. It was a pleasure dealing with the Robison team, especially Gary and Craig!
Scheduled a service call that was a misunderstanding and technician showed up Wednesday instead of Saturday. I’m not home during the weekdays so obviously a miscommunication as the reception wasn’t that good talking to them.
In the end i got charged $80 for this which I think is unacceptable.
I should add that I didn’t get a text message 24h before technician showed up but 20 min before.
I also experienced little understanding with other issues multiple times. One Example me wanting to hold an oil delivery which they absolutely could not do even tho I said I was short on money. They even delivered oil before the meter on my oil tank showed it was time.
I have a yearly subscription with Robison but will definitely cancel once it’s done
