These guys saved me $12,000! Was told by competing company in Haywood County that I needed a new system inside and out and would cost over 15 K. Decided to get a second quote and David from Asheville Air said he could repair for thousands less and my system had many years left. John and his crew from Asheville Air came out promptly and got us up and running in no time. Entire staff was prompt , courteous and most importantly honest. Would highly recommend!!

My AC unit started to have trouble keeping the house cool when it got hotter in the summer. I Googled my problem and tried to diagnose it on my own. Last time I had a local company come out and look at my AC, all they did was turn it off and back on but still charged me $100. This time though, I couldn't figure out the problem. Asheville Air was recommended to me through a friend, so I called them to look at my unit. The techs came out in the morning, so my unit was acting up because it wasn't hot enough. They spent over an hour checking my whole system, seeing if there were any leaks, or if the levels were off. The only thing they could find wrong was I needed to change my filter because I have dogs, but I change this on a normal basis every 3 months. Later that day, my system started to act up as it got hotter. I called them back and they said they would send someone out to look again. This time the President of the company showed up at my house. He did the same thorough inspection and now that it was hotter was able to determine I needed some Freon. After that my system has worked great! It is running at the perfect temperature and I haven't had any problems. They even offered to give me extra filters and told me to change them every month since I have shedding dogs. Thanks so much Asheville Air! You really helped me out and I appreciate the great customer service that you provided.

I am very happy with the service I received from Asheville Air. Michael was very knowledgeable, friendly, honest. He went through our mini split system to find and repair a small refrigerant leak, which included uncovering a hornets nest and getting stung twice. 😣 I felt so bad, I mean really bad. They didn't deter him and he got our system running like new. I wish I could have given him a courtesy tip. My husband made the service call and forgot to tell me he was coming, I had no cash on hand and don't even know if that's OK with company policy, but he deserved it for sure!! Michael, I hope great karma comes your way. Bottom line....outstanding customer service, call these guys and gals for any AC problems that creep up on you!

Asheville Air has done fantastic work on my home heating and cooling system! Their technicians have been polite and clear. I would recommend them to anyone.

Last night my AC stopped working and early this morning I started calling to find a service person to come out. Well as you would have it, I had Jon the service manager come on out and he quickly diagnoses-ed my problem and had it fixed in about 20 minutes and then he did a quick overall service check. Now my AC runs great. I would highly recommend that you give them a call for all you AC needs. Thanks Jon

Asheville Air Heating & Cooling is that rare breed where they are a company large enough to meet a wide variety of your needs but personal enough to always put you first. The two times that I have called for service, Asheville Air was at my house the next day. Michael King, the technician, was punctual, courteous, thorough and very helpful even explaining the things that I needed to know... like what size filter, where to put it and how often to change it (sometimes we need the basics you know!)

This company is the go to HVAC company in our area. My heat pump went out in the middle of a heat wave. The heat pump that went out was for the 2nd story of my home and that is where my children's bedrooms are. I didn't figure it out until I went to put my kids to bed and it was 78 degrees. Well after a night of wrestling with the 3 young children and trying to get them to sleep on a blow up mattress in the living room I was ready to get the unit repaired at any cost. After calling many different companies Asheville Air was the only company that said they would come out the same day. They made a slight repair and advised me that I needed to replace my unit. They had my unit running in about 10 mins and are coming back to replace the unit and air handler in my attic. Ian and Clarence are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I look forward to my new energy efficient heat pump. I am sure it will save me money compared to the under sized cheapo unit that a builder installed originally. They are even looking into my other heat pump unit to make sure it is running the best way possible.

I will definitely be calling Asheville Air for all my future HVAC issues.

Very nice work. Another firm quoted almost $2000 more to replace my central air without taking into consideration that I didn't have a furnace that will provide any efficiency with their unit. Would've been a big waste of money. The initial visit was very smooth and the installation team terrific. It should be a go to place for you in town.

Great company all around and great service. Everyone is very knowledgeable and the prices are very fair. All of my experiences with them have been much better than competitors that I've used in the past (and will not use again). Matthew came out and did a duct cleaning and tune up for us. He was completely thorough and went above and beyond my expectations. Our unit is working better than ever!

I had no heat on a Sunday. Ian came out in less than 2 hours. He found it was a switch that needed to be reset. He had my heat working in less than 10 minutes. He did not try to sell me any parts that I did not need. He is a true professional. Remember to change your filters!!!
