I called NexGen at 2PM because our AC was on the fritz. Cody completed his work on a jobsite, took care of another service call and by 6:40 he had diagnosed and replaced the faulty capacitor. Fantastic service!

My landlord chose NexGen to replace our heat pump/HVAC, which was extremely old and awkwardly placed. The crew is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Even though I know nothing of their pricing, but they are absolutely worth it. My landlord already has another possible job for them. I think it's a win anytime both the landlord and tenant are happy with maintenance of any sort.

Our first experience with Cody in getting our new oil tank set up was a good one. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and prompt when we set up a time for him to come out. Also, we feel the price was fair for the work we had done. So far our oil furnace is working great and we would definitely call him again if needed.

Set it and forget it HVAC came to my home to troubleshoot my unit. Cody was very professional and punctual.

After he arrived he started to troubleshoot my system. We realized the issue was greater than expected. Cody explained everything in detail. Walking me around and showing me what he found and different solutions to fix the issues. It was clear he was very knowledgeable in his trade and would have no issues fixing the issues.

He didn’t have one part on his truck to complete the work so he had to order it. He ordered the part and left, telling me he would be back Friday after he picked the part up. Friday morning he called me and set up a time to arrive. He showed up, put the part in, and then stayed for an hour running checks on my system. He would not let me pay any more than quoted even with him staying for an extra hour to run checks.

I have had issues with my system for a while and had multiple people come and go saying it was fixed when it wasn’t. Cody was the only one to truly fix my system. I won’t use another HVAC business form here on out.

Cody came within hours of us calling. I explained that my tenants had no heat and he worked us in. He figured out the problem and got it fixed and running quickly. He is organized and efficient, and also gave us some good tips and insight. His prices are great, he is honest and hardworking. I totally recommend!

I had an amazing experience. My AC stopped working during the hottest week of the year and other HVAC companies were booked weeks out with hefty fees just for coming to assess the unit. Set it and forget it came same day and serviced my unit for an affordable price with a user friendly payment system and very kind professional service.

Had some problems with my AC. Cody came out and was very friendly and professional. Did not mind my requests to have him wear a mask while we were talking about the issue. He gave me a couple of options for solutions, one more expensive and one less expensive. I appreciate the honesty, because he could have just as easily only told me about the expensive option. He had the job finished the same day, for what I believe was a very fair price. I highly recommend.

We moved to Asheville, NC almost two years ago and was fortunate to have Set it and forget It do all of the Heating and AC work at our home. Cody was very professional and went out of his way to ensure our furnace and AC was working appropriately. He is very affordable and frankly we won’t go to anyone else. If I could recommend ONE company for any house's repairs/fixes, it would be Cody (hvac)!!! After filling my oil tank to run the furnace for the winter, it wouldn't start. I called around to 3 different companies and nobody would schedule me for at least a week and the quoted prices for a furnace tune-up were between $250-$500...luckily, I came across Cody's ad and he came out the next day for $160! While performing the tune-up, he informed me the pump was old and asked if I wanted to replace it now or wait to see if it failed (absolutely zero up-selling on his end!)...being thrifty, I of course said let's wait and see...well sure enough, the pump failed after 2 weeks...Cody came back and replaced it at 8 pm for an extra $30 labor!!! In an industry (hvac) infested with over-charges and predators, Cody is a truly a trustworthy person! I will recommend him to anybody who'll listen.
