NorthStar Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

NorthStar Plumbing/Jeramiah replaced my old non working sump pump and battery backup. As always, the job was done efficiently, promptly, explained thoughtfully and the site is left clean. PLEASE DON’T USE any Northstar services because they are sucked. Here is my story. I called Northstar to unclog my sink in the bathroom in my upper apartment. Northstar did come and did unclog my drainage line; however, a few days later I noticed that every time the fixed sink was turned on, a lot of water came out of the ceiling onto my lower apartment damaged my lower level ceiling. It never happened like that before so I called Northstar right away to have them looking into it. Northstar did admit that they damaged and made a hole as a result of their augering to clean out the clogged; however, they refused to fix their mistakes if I did not pay them a lot of money for fixing them. I did talk to one of the owners of the company too about this issue but they are all means to me. I took care of the issue myself instead of having them do any kinds of work for me again. I wish I could upload my video showing how the water was pouring out into my lower apartment ceiling so that everyone has good visual images but I could not see that option on Google reviews.

NorthStar Plumbing worked with us on plumbing issues and a water heater replacement. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and worked within our home warranty system. They stayed in touch when we had questions and provided service at great value. Would definitely recommend. I plan to use them in the future for any needs as we work on renovating our house.

Northstar plumbing is the only company we have been able to trust consistently. We have had multiple plumbing disasters between water heater, water softener, sump pump, garbage disposal, and toilet problems. We used other companies and always ended up with follow up problems. This is never the case when we call Northstar. Their team is extremely knowledgeable and they have always been able to get a serviceman out promptly. Their attention to detail is excellent. One of the guys was out to check our sump pump and informed us that our water heater (only a year old installed by another company) was leaking. Northstar is the only plumbing company we intend to use moving forward. They provide fast, friendly, reliable and honest service.

My sump pump stopped working and I was worried if it wasn't addressed as soon as possible it would start to flood the basement. I called them very early in the morning and the worker on the phone was extremely courteous and didn't talk down to me, even though I did a pretty poor job explaining the problem. He came over in about half an hour and had a new pump installed in less than an hour. I didn't catch his name but he was very nice and explained everything with patience and professionalism. I have used NorthStar in the past for a water heater and sprinkler hookup, the man who came that day was just as kind and professional. NorthStar has gained my loyalty, clearly they have good standards for their staff.

Called them at 5:15am with an emergency situation as our sump pump had failed overnight, and water was quickly encroaching on the rest of our basement. By 6am, Ben was at my home to diagnose the problem. He had to leave to get the necessary parts and tools to fix the issue and install the new pump. By 7am, he was back at my house and was hard at work fixing the problem. By 9am, the job was complete. New pump and backup installed already taking care of all the ground water and draining our sump hole. Extremely quick, efficient, and professional. He even gave me a rundown of the new equipment, and offered advice for a completely unrelated plumbing question I had. I cannot thank Ben and NorthStar Plumbing enough for their quick response, timely repair, and ultimately, giving myself and my family the piece of mind to where we don’t have to worry about our basement being flooded any more. Extremely professional, reliant, and reasonable. Thank you Ben and NorthStar plumbing!

Moving into an older home we experienced several plumbing issues. North Star and the crews sent out were quick to respond with solutions to any issue or service we had done. They were clean, courteous and professional.
