National quickly set up a time to come look at my mini split problem and then were able to come even sooner. My technician, Larry, was very friendly and walked me through all the troubleshooting he was doing. He was able to find an answer that day and my system has been working great ever since!
DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!! Not only did they show up extremely late but they misdiagnosed our AC issue and attempted to overcharge. Our parts were under warranty but they quoted $1,400 solely for labor. The labor entailed changing a small part that would have taken no more than 15 minutes. They told us our system required 9lbs of refrigerant where it clear as day says 4.5lbs on the system. Deliberately tried to take advantage of a family with a baby who desperately needed their AC repaired. Inexperienced and unqualified technicians. Look anywhere else.
National did great and fast work on our new HVAC system! They left our house and yard very clean and we’re extremely professional with our service. Keith and Randy were very helpful and took the time to answer all our questions!
Tyler Miller, the technician, was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and tidy. He explained everything that he did for the A/C system's annual checkup. Anitra and May, in the office, were also very friendly, professional and helpful in scheduling.
Man came out to my house wasnt there 30 minutes said he fixed our unit i turned it on and was frooze over again. I called the man back told him it was still broke he told me he would be back out next business day that was a week ago. When contacting the company I'm repeatedly given the run around now I'm being told that the man said there was nothing wrong with my AC unit but the coil continues to freeze up now the company is refusing to come back out to my house to fix what they were paid to fix to begin with.
The service tech seemed professional and confidant but he made a mistake in troubleshooting my Trane s9v2 furnace. The furnace would go into heat-1 but only the first burner would light. The flame would not progress to the second and third burner where the flame detector is located. Thus the furnace would not really start. I was told that the flame detector was probably defective. I cleaned the burners and fixed the problem myself. No flame detector replacement needed.
It's very clear that their techs go about trying to replace instead of repairing issues. Be careful when calling them, they will tell you something needs replaced and the reasoning is BS. They are paid on commission. If they say a whole unit needs replaced, its because they will make more money instead of a $200 service call. They'd rather sell you a brand new $8,000 unit.
Easy to scheduled semi-annual maintenance service inspections for both the heating and air conditioning systems. Reasonable preventive maintenance packages available with no major cost increases over the years. My maintenance package includes annual service on a humidifier that is not a typical model. The only problem I have is the humidifier filter is rarely on hand when the service is performed but it is always delivered and installed in a day or two!
These people don’t care about keeping clients or customer service. I paid the $89 to have someone inspect my A/C because it stopped working. The tech came in, looked at the system for all of 5 seconds then stated I needed a whole new system because there’s nothing he could do and left. They then quoted me $8k for a new system and $7k just to fix the broken part. I went out myself and barely cleaned some of the coils off and the system immediately started working again. That should have been the first thing that he did. I called to report my interaction and no one would get back to me. I called every week for two months to get in touch with a manager to explain the situation and maybe offer some feedback so they were aware the techs aren’t conducting great business but no one would call me back after I was told each time someone would get back to me that week or even the next day. After two months I finally talked to a “Jeff” who did not care about my situation at all and refused any sort of reimbursement despite the lack of service that I never received. Plus the fact that it took two months to be able to talk to someone. I wasn’t going to ask for a reimbursement originally I wanted their office to know what a poor job was being done and they didn’t care so it is clear to me that this company does not care about their clients they only want money and will scam you without thinking twice about it.
Chris was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly polite and respectful. He explained everything to me and answered all of my questions I had. The installation was done in a timely manner with no disruption to my workday as I work from home. I’d recommend National Heating and Air time and time again! Very happy with my service!
