Writing this on July 4, 2023. Woke up and my air wasn't working. My house was getting hotter and hotter. Called Herczog and left a message on what was going on. With in 2 hrs they were out. They fixed my problem and my house is cooling down. All of this on the 4th of July. Best AC company around!

TLDR; Herczog Heating and Air is a unicorn, I can’t recommend them strongly enough.

Yesterday we had a well known and reputable HVAC company come out for our broken air conditioner. We were told the compressor was broken and the price quoted to replace it was basically the price of a new unit. Not to be left out, our hot water tank also decided to quit on us yesterday. We called an equally reputable yet different company to evaluate the hot water tank, and that too was reported as unfixable.

Today my good friend gave me the name of “her guy”, Herczog Heating and Air, a family owned business for 60 years. I called them this morning and they not only made the effort to fit me into their schedule, but when they left my house BOTH the air conditioner and the hot water tank were repaired! In my eyes, this family walks on water and I can’t thank them enough! 🥰

We have the worst luck with furnaces and AC. Each house we've purchased there's been trouble with the system the prior owner installed. And each time, Herzog have been there for us to save the day. Just this week our AC cut out. Ted was round the next day and got us back up and running. Just one of many times I've been glad to have Herzog in my contacts.

Good company to work with. Prompt service and reasonable price

I’ve used them in the past, but I was disappointed this time. I was charged $105 for ~2 minutes worth of work, which could’ve been diagnosed over the phone. The issue: banging noise when furnace blower fan started running. The fix: open a few air ducts. Definitely would not use again. They could’ve told me to try that over the phone. The technician didn’t even look at the furnace to make sure it was in proper working order. I expected at least a cursory glance of the furnace for $105. I was charged $105 for a guy to walk in my house and open 2 air ducts.

They installed a hot water heater at my home. Per an inspection it wasn’t up to city code. Called several times over the course of 8 months to have it corrected. No one ever corrected the situation. Terrible customer service.

Herczog Heating & AC installed my second furnace and AC in late 1980 the first replacement since the home was built in 1969. It was a York System. They also have been servicing us annually since that time. The old system was replaced in September 2013 with a high efficiency Luxaire furnace and AC. Their service over the years has been excellent. The equipment they have installed has been reliable. I think a 37 year record span speaks for itself. Ted Herczog is both honest and trustworthy.

I sent a text massage about my broken furnace and Ted came a half hour later. He looked everything, found the problem and he explained. He made a good job. Thank you.

After another hvac company didn't fix the furnace... And charged us $340, we called Herczog. After 1/2 hour Ted had diagnosed and fixed the furnace. With a new igniter and filter the cost was $156!!! No charges for after hours service. Ted now has our business for our home and two rentals.

Amazing service! They provided quick and efficient service at reasonably prices. My Technician George was extremely knowledgeable and had no problem answering all my questions (while he was working ). I would highly recommend this company first and foremost ahead of any other competitors.
