I couldn't be happier with the service received by Rick with RK Plumbing and HVAC. Our water heater died on a Friday night. When I called (close to 9pm), Rick answered and told me he was able to come out to our house Saturday morning. He gave me all of the costs upfront on the phone so we knew exactly what to expect.

Rick arrived first thing in the morning. He was polite, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We have very hard water and no water softener at this time, so he recommended flushing our water heater every 6 months (you wouldn't believe how much lime was built up in the old one!!!) and even let me take a video of him explaining how to do that.

Rick was an absolute life-saver. We had a horrible experience with another company that was assigned to us through our home warranty. I called RK Plumbing and HVAC to try to find some help in a new town that I didn't know. Rick came out within hours of first contacting him and was able to fix the furnace on site right away. He even stuck around for a few minutes to make sure that the furnace was back to working order properly before he left our home. We went three days with no heat in our home waiting for the other company to order parts that we ended up not even needing! RK Plumbing is the best of the best. We've called Rick to fix our plumbing and HVAC issues for many years and are always happy with his work and prices. Rick is very transparent with the work he completes. He will show you the issue, provide explanations, and show you the repairs made. Rick is also very good about explaining how to care for your equipment and will answer any questions you have.

We first discovered RK Plumbing after another plumbing company gave a $700 estimate to replace an outdoor faucet that was leaking, then the plumber broke the faucet completely. Rick fixed the faucet for less than half the price quoted by the other company and even matched the faucet to the siding. At this time, we had another company servicing our HVAC system. Our A/C kept going out and the other HVAC company came out three separate times to fix the same issue (charging us each time). Finally, I asked RK Plumbing if he would take a look at the A/C. Rick came out, fixed the issue and it stayed fixed. That was nearly a decade ago.

Last year, Rick replaced our 30-year-old HVAC system with one that actually heats and cools the entire house for a very reasonable cost and he was very helpful in providing information and assistance for rebates on the new system.

My water heater failed earlier this month and I had water all over my basement. Found Rick online, and he was able to come out the very next day to replace my water heater and expansion tank. He communicated clearly through the whole process, worked quickly, and did good work. Will definitely call him again for any HVAC or plumbing needs, and plan to have him out to do my furnace tune-up next month.

RK Plumbing has been to our house several times and I highly recommend him! We were stood up by another highly recommended local plumber so I called Rick who came out the next day and fixed our problem. While here he noticed our dryer vent was not installed properly and promptly fixed that, potentially saving us from a future house fire! This is our 2nd time working with Rick. We had a minor plumbing issue several years ago and he was both responsive and fixed the issue quickly. Fast forward to now, when we had a much larger issue with our hot water heater. We gave him a call and he was able to come out that day to diagnose, temporarily fix the issue to get us through a couple days until he could replace the hot water heater. He walked us through our options - higher capacity tank versus tankless - and helped us make the right choice for our family size and consumption. We went tankless and are so happy- now we no longer run out of hot water, increased our storage area by getting rid of the large tank, and have peace of mind for many years to come. Rick is a professional who really knows his stuff and his work and attention to detail are top notch- we highly recommend!

Rick has easily the best customer service based company i have ever used. We were having major problems with our Home warranty company for our Central AC Unit and Rick was able to get things set straight for us even talked to the company for me! I HIGHLY recommend RK Plumbing to everyone that has any type of Air Conditioning issue! He personally answers his phone if you call and as far as i am aware it didn't matter what time of night or day either! Also he is ridiculously quick at getting the job completed we had to replace our whole home unit because it was time to upgrade from an 17+ year old unit that kept braking down. Our first time meeting him was on a Friday afternoon and had the job completed on the following Tuesday at noon! Home is ICE cold Thanks Rick!!!
