I scheduled a drain clearing for the same day. They arrived early in my time window, and Austin was very personable. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and affordably. Austin and his partner quickly diagnosed and solved a problem for $100 that another company had charged over $500 to incorrectly diagnose. Will use eco plumbers again!

I called them over to replace some outside faucets that were leaking out of the hose bib when turned on. The tech then proceeded to try and upsell me on two separate and unrelated jobs ranging in the thousands (both of which weren't immediate emergencies). I declined the outrageous upsells and just wanted the initial work I called them over for. That's when the price gouging began. Initially, the work was going to be done for free if I purchased a 6K water filter, but because I didn't want that or the other thousand dollar job, he was going to charge $600 for two leaky faucet repairs. When I told them that was way too high, he went off and talked to his manager and came back and said he can do it for 300 (a price I said was more reasonable). But he then added the stipulation that "he can't guarantee the work". Not a good sales tactic, and really wouldn't make any customer feel comfortable. It's not the tech's fault though, they're being controlled by the managers that don't have realistic expectations. You could tell the strings were being pulled by a higher manager. Every time a bargaining would happen, he'd go off and make a call and come back. They probably have crazy overheads and need to charge this much to continue operations during a time of high inflation. I actually feel kind of bad for the techs because he was a nice guy but they are just following an aggressive business protocol. I just want them to do the work I called them over for and not have it turn into big thing. He tried to steer me on THREE separate things I did not ask for and tried to bundle it in with the initial job.
Well, turns out the parts needed for the job are $60 at Home Depot. Meaning, they'd be making 900% profit on the job with their initial quote. They'd probably do a great job (They did the first time I called them over, hence why I called them again.) But I guarantee all these customers are overpaying for the work. I got quotes elsewhere and another company is doing it for 1/4 of the price.
You have to be more competitive Eco Plumbers.

Every experience I have had with Eco Plumbers has been fantastic. They just came out and quickly corrected an issue with a new iron filter they installed that was apparently blocked and stopping water flow. A forced backwash cleared it right up.

I had service with Eco to replace two valves that had been installed incorrectly. Work was great and very professional. About a year later I received a call from this company asking for an updated credit card to charge for my "care plan". I had not signed up for a plan, but the person for the phone said I had one for my HVAC and just needed a new card on file. The previous owners had one years prior, they decided to just sign me up for it and charge me. VERY SHADY!

Knowledge and friendly staff. Found the problem with my tankless hot water unit immediately and made the fix quickly. Upfront and honest with all issues and explained everything well. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Andrew and Austin were extremely professional, kind and helpful. They came into my home, assessed the issue and provided honest/helpful options based on my needs, without sleezy sales tactics might I add. Throughout Austin's and Andrew's time cleaning the sewage line they were constantly keeping me informed on the process and the preliminary findings. They remained patient while answering my questions and explained in a way the average human would understand. The icing on the cake was that they cleaned the area so I did not have to deal with the sewage mess. Leaving it in better condition than when they arrived (I still need to actually bleach the area, but not having to pick up the mess the clogged line left behind is a tremendous relief). They also took a 360 video of the completed work, go over their discovery and reiterate what was discussed so there is no gray area when it comes to the information they verbally shared with you.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my service today and the follow-up option to view the line with a camera to see the root cause of the problem-without an additional cost. The pricing of this company was extremely fair, and I really like that they send text updates with a picture of your plumber so you have a heads up who is arriving at your home along with a tracker showing their distance away (in today's world, that extra measure of safety/security is beneficial).
