Wow what can be said about this company that hasn't already been said? I had an emergency leak in the bathtub. I called them on a Thursday and they were able to squeeze me in last minute on a Friday. They were so professional. They explained in great detail what the problem was, and how they planned to fix it. They treated my house as if it was their own. They laid down plastic over every area. They were fast and clean with everything. Everything works better than before now. Reasonable priced! Area was cleaned up well after. I'd recommend them to anyone. And will use them again.

Our original hot water heater was purchased in 2009. I knew that it needed to be replaced and called several companies for quotes. I ultimately chose Charles Gans Plumbing. Mike removed the old gas hot water heater, installed the new unit, and made the appropriate repairs so that it met code requirements. The work area was protected and left clean. Had them come out to look at a potential sewer line replacement. They were extremely thorough, spending a lot of time tracking our line through an uncomfortable crawl space. What was really amazing is they didn't then push for unnecessary repairs. They were incredibly honest and professional. Their price for inspection was reasonable as well. Honest, fairly priced, professional - highly recommend and will use in the future!

I have used Gans Plumbing on a previous occasion to install a water heater and it was a great experience. This past Saturday my wife discovered a leak in our mechanical room. Lucky for us it had just started.
I shut of the water and called Gans. With in 2 hours it was repaired. The technician, Matt was excellent. The office followed up on Monday. I am very happy to be a Gans customer!

We have an older home with a hot water heating system (no pre-existing ducts). As each summer has gotten hotter, the mini-split (ductless) AC units really weren't doing the job. Brian came out and studied the house (other contractors could only recommend new ductless systems) and found an attic crawlspace where they could install an AC system. It works perfectly. We were particularly impressed with the guys who did the installation. They were professional, courteous, scrupulously clean and considerate. We got to know them quite well and, even though they were in and out of our bedroom every day for most of a week, we missed them when they left.

We received a recommendation from our realtor to reach out to 'Murph' at Charles Gans when we moved into our home when we found the toilet was leaked. Right away, someone came out fixed the toilet and said we would need a new lever so he would order the same one and come back. Little did we know when we'd come back he would charge us $200 because of a 'labor charge minimum'. My husband even asked them to drop off the lever and have him install himself. They also replaced our lever with a MUCH cheaper and less quality lever. Charles Gans is taking no responsibility for them 1) replacing our toilet with the incorrect piece as well as 2) not explaining the charge and cost of all 3) no remorse or customer service. There are plenty of plumbers, this insane to be treated so poorly by a company.

So glad I found these guys (thanks to a friend's recommendation)! Prompt response time and best pricing along with honest and knowledgeable technicians. Water heater replaced same day! Called them again for a tub leak, terrified of the potential repairs I'd need, and instead received a clear assessment and the opportunity to do it myself with tips on how. Couldn't be happier and they've earned my business for life.

My wife and I decided to make the investment to install central air in our home in Drexel Hill. We needed the entire system installed, including all new duct work. Brian came to our home in 2018, was extremely professional and courteous. He sent us a quote, accordingly. In 2019 we received additional estimates. We decided to award Gans with the project. Their pricing was extremely competitive, and their service, led by David was outstanding! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Charles B. I’m back for a second positive review. My furnace went out and Brian, Matt and the team jumped through every hoop possible to find a new one and get it installed. Last night was 13 degrees. Today, I have a new furnace.

I had them come to give an estimate on some work that needed to be done in my bathroom. I had already pulled up the flooring, figured out what needed to be done, and even priced it out to see what the materials would cost. They gentleman who arrived was courteous, kind, and quickly assessed the situation. I'm a DIY'er and he even asked if I'd be willing to remove a few more floorboards to get better access when the job starts (something other companies would just charge me for). The quote for the work came back at 1/2 the price of another company I've used in the past. I've been looking for a go-to plumber since we moved into our house and few years ago and I think I've found them. Looking forward to working with them in the future.
