Air Temp has consistently provided excellent service for my family. We recently experienced a power surge that destroyed our old heat pump. Air Temp was able to make the time to diagnose the problem, order a replacement and get us back up and running within 5 days. Their service has always been top notch, their employees are polite and professional, and I would recommend them to anybody.
Ryan showed up within 1 hour after my 77 year old mother called with a broken A/C unit with temps over 90 degrees. Diagnosis and repair complete within 30 min at a reasonable price and explained what was wrong and what happened.
Was a customer of Rob's for years to service our central air conditioning system in our house. Never had an issue until one year they simply said they weren't going to be able to work with us any more. For context, we live in a Levittown house without an attic and accessing the indoor unit required crawling through duct work to access the unit.
In the intervening years, we have made a number of renovations to our home including installing stairway access to the AC unit, which we also replaced with a brand new unit that has run without issue for more than five years until the end of last September when the unit would no longer power on.
Now that we're into the summer months, we reached out to Rob in the hopes they could come out and service our air conditioner and get it working again. My mother called Friday afternoon and at first were told Rob would not be coming out because of his previous experience of not wanting to go through the duct work -- she explained the renovations I detailed above. At first, she was berated first, asking why we didn't get our AC replaced through them. Then, begrudgingly, we were told we would get a callback today to inform us when Rob could come out.
Today came and went. Late in the afternoon, we gave another call to follow-up on our appointment inquiry. My mother spoke with Rob's wife who first felt the need to state - No, she hadn't called us back, and again berated us for not replacing our air conditioner through them and then she was told flat-out Rob was done crawling through our attic (we don't have an attic) and he would not be coming out. My mom tried explaining, again, that we've had renovations done to accommodate direct-access to the AC unit and crawling through the duct work wouldn't be necessary.
Undeterred, his wife responded "Well that's a direct quote from Rob. He's not coming out and we don't need small money jobs like that any more anyway" and hung up.
We've never experienced such awful treatment over the phone before. Trying to schedule a service appointment was such a horrific experience; I'd say we'll never do business with them ever again... but that decision was made for us.
Definitely do not recommend. No one should be verbally abused for making a simple business request.
We were a customer of AIRTEMP for a couple years. Our two air conditioners have never broken down. Each year, they came to replace filters and clean dusts. Recently, a guy came for regular biannual service. He refused to wear a mask during Covid-19 situations. He was very rude when I provided him a mask. He left without any explanations. Reached out to reschedule the appointment, AIRTEMP did not even show up appointment without any cancellations. AIRTEMP has charged money for contract. I was told that I need to sue AIRTEMP in order to get my money back from the undelivered contract. Not recommend AIRTEMP any more.
Several years ago we had Airtemp replace our old heat pump with a new Carrier. The new unit wasn't operating correctly at first and Rob had Carrier come out and we got a whole new unit at no charge without any hassle at all. Since then it has more than paid for itself in reduced electrical expenditures and increased comfort. Charges are always correct; service on time. Never a problem. I highly recommend Airtemp.
I have used this company for both my home heating/air conditioning unit and business AC unit. They are great!!! The work is always done right and quickly. The rates are reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone!
When I called I was told they would come in 2 days. Then I received a call back and my appointment was pushed back 2 weeks because they're 45 min away from my location. They need to improve their scheduling.
