Ricky and his helper arrived on time. They were very pleasant and professional. He presented the facts, the price and once I approved the work he efficiently replaced my water heater. He was very respectful of my home and made sure everything was protected before bringing anything in to work. He explained different things to me as they went along so that I understood how it all works and he was very patient with me. My heater is in the laundry room so there is not a lot of room to work in but he put everything in with no disturbance to anything else in the room. To be honest the was in better shape after he cleaned up than it was before.

Just so you know, I had horizon come out before these guys come out and they were double the price. My neighbor recommended them. I'm happy I picked Action.

I'm very happy with the service provided! I came home from vacation with my 2 year old too find that my heater had stopped working while I was gone. The technician sent out was pleasant, clear, and efficent. He arrived earlier than expected and our problem was fixed within an hour. (Fairly simple repair) Price was was reasonable. Overall great experience and now we are WARM!

I had a problem with action Heating and Air and Ben as well. The reason I had called us because they had sold me a heater less than 10 years ago and the price was quite High it had a few issues within those 10 years butt this past winter I had an issue where the blower engine started making noise I was told by Ben that I would need a new heater because not only was the blower engine bad the fan itself was bent and that caused the heat exchanger to be scorched all caused by water coming down my chimney he also wanted to put in a chimney sleeve all of this in the thousands of dollars. Because he claims water damage I called my insurance company they sent out pretty Heating he claimed I was being scammed and all I needed was a new heater fan I told him then from action told me that my heater would not last the winter and it would cost $3,600 to replace the fan and motor. I then called G & J stimmler and Sons they came out and verified what Peretti had said I did not need a new heater that been in action heating were trying to Simply tell me another one all I needed was a motor and a fan and if in fact I needed a heater they would sell me one comfortable at way less the price. I had called action a couple of times with no replies so I decided to post this luckily I only wasted $150 on their service charge which was not worth it and should be refunded because they were incorrect with their diagnosis. Please avoid this company at all costs there are many others out there that will help you and are honest. They have closed all thy have closed the other local Philadelphia locations, and you can guess why. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THEM!

On December 15, I was having trouble with my heat. I called Horizon to come out and look at my furnace. They quoted me a price of $13,500 to replace my 18 year old unit. Upon recommendation, I called action for a second opinion and they told me a new heater would cost me $7700 for the same exact furnace Horizon was going to sell to me. Needless to say, I signed a contract with Action.

The crew was at my house later that day. The put down drop clothes and explained the entire process to me. The staff was professional and did the job efficiently and neatly. I highly recommend them.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I had an issue with my outdoor unit, a so called technician came out and said I needed a new unit which was put in by this company in 2014. It should have been covered under warranty. After telling me it was covered and scheduling an appt. they called me the morning they were supposed to come out and said it wasn't covered under warranty. I told them that I would pay the $3300.00 for the unit and I would go after the warranty company myself. They told me that they would not come out to fix it and left me stranded. Customer service is horrible! I called another heating company who came out the next day and told me that there was nothing wrong with my unit except the capacitor was weak which cost me 130.00. Problem fixed. I thank god Action didn't come out that morning. Dishonest tried to sell me a unit I didn't need!

Needed emergency service on my property AC unit. Called at 11pm on evening of the issue, Action was very responsive and had a service tech at the property early the very next morning. The AC unit had completely failed and had to be replaced. They had a replacement unit in stock and had it installed within a couple of hrs. Communication was great, I was kept informed thru out the entire process. I have used Action a few years ago and glad I returned for my emergency AC repair needs. I highly recommend them for your AC or Heating needs, they are great 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I've never had such a great experience working with someone over the phone! Manny was professional, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to get our heat running again and keep my 1 year old son warm! Action will definitely be our service provider of choice from here on out. Thanks Manny!

My furnace wouldn't work on coldest day of the year. Called several companies that couldn't make it out for several days. Action was able to come that day. I was sure I was going to pay a fortune to get it fixed but needed heat no matter what. They said it was just my pilot light. They got there quickly and got my heat back on right away and all I ended up paying for was a service call. They were amazing!

I called Action for a repair on my heater. I had another company come to look at the heater and they said the it needed to be replaced for an extraordinary amount of money. Action repaired it for a fair price. The service tech arrived on time, were clean and friendly. My heater is in tip top shape and running great!

Had the AC break down with 2 toddlers in the house.. mid July. They came over, replaced the units (which I wasn't thrilled about paying 6500 - nor will I say I'm convinced I needed) BUT I will say that I trust the heck out of Carl. Work ethics are on another level... making sure that everything was done properly, willing to double back if wiring seems to be off, and having the old school knowledge to trouble shoot when a new-age gadget (like my Nest thermostat) was not working.
