Vogt Heating & Cooling

I am so grateful for Vogt. I called a couple of months ago wanting to add central AC to my home but had no idea how it worked or what the process would be. Within a couple of weeks Tim Jr. came for a consult and walked me through the whole process, explained my options, how the system would be installed, what I could expect, etc.. He was also incredibly patient with all of my questions and explained things in a way where, even without extensive knowledge, I could understand. Just a day or so following the consult he sent me a full estimate with a few options to choose from. I made my decision, and felt confident doing so after the informative consult, and they scheduled me quickly. When the guys came to install the AC today they were great. They arrived right as scheduled, were very respectful and efficient, and in no time the system was ready to go. What an upgrade to my home!! Thanks!

I'm a new customer to Vogt wanting my HVAC serviced and everything checked over. I scheduled weeks in advance and the office staff did a great job of booking and was very flexible since there are only certain days I am available. The technician showed up within the scheduled window and was super nice. She did a great job of explaining everything, checking the system for air quality, and cleaning. She spent about 1.5 hrs at my home and was impressed with the service and felt the cost was extremely reasonable. Thanks Vogt! I will be calling again for future service.

My central AC unit leaked and I called them late in a Sunday evening, they came the next day (Monday). The technician opened the draining pipe and cleaned the blockage, thinking that it would fixed the problem. It did not. He needed to come back twice. Every time he tried to figure out the problem and patiently explained to me the reason behind every step he did. Finally , he sealed a hole that caused the leakage. There is no more leakage since then (the AC has been running several days already). They (the technician and the one on the phone) were nice , the price is reasonable and come in the same day. I highly recommend.

I have found Vogt to be extremely, helpful, prompt and honest. 9 years ago we had a heat pump with oil furnace backup installed by them. My husband had many questions as we were deciding what kind of system to install (we had other companies quoting us also) and Tim always answered thoroughly. 2 years ago I became widowed and am trying to navigate life without my handyman husband. I called Vogt because I was just looking for information to know if venting my dryer near my outside heat pump unit would interfere with the correct operation of it. Tim promptly call me back & then said he would stop by and assess the situation. He did and said it would be fine but he also said he would be back to do it for me after getting supplies ( not really a heating issue). He and his wife returned and he took care of everything. He wanted to make one more upgrade for future use and ordered a part and is seeing to it being installed. All of this he did at no charge. Also the employees that have came to do my routine maintenance have always came at the appointment time, done a good job and left no mess.

Stopped into office this morning and paid service fee. Although booked for the day, the service rep still made it out. He was here when we left for work. Service call and repair was finished, and doors were locked when I got home. Very professional, very friendly staff. Five stars are not enough, you deserve 10! You are trustworthy and have 100% of my business! Thank you, Vogt!!! I will reccomend to anyone that needs service work!!

We couldn't be happier with the service we've received from Vogt. We've been in Meadville for 18 months, and Dan has now taken care of us on two separate occasions: once last summer when our AC compressor died, and again yesterday when our furnace stopped firing. Both times, Dan showed up within the hour, and diagnosed and fixed the issue within two hours. Both times, we were beyond relieved with the final bill. EXTREMELY reasonable rates for prompt, friendly, highly competent service. A++ We are now loyal customers.

The people at Vogt have absolutely earned by trust and respect. Not only do they do the job well, but twice (once for plumbing, once for furnace) they welcomed me as I observed them while they worked, asking questions to make sure I understand my house and its systems well. They explain thoroughly and are happy to talk and teach. They are a high-integrity bunch and I highly recommend them. Honestly five stars is not enough for the service and respect I've received.

Recently needed to make an emergency call on Christmas morning for no heat. On call technician talked me through various troubleshooting which determined that the issue was a lack of gas getting to the furnace. Followed up with gas company whose on call tech came out and replaced the meter. Altogether it took less than two hours from the first call until the problem was resolved. On a holiday! Fantastic!

Waited a whole week only to have the gentleman tell me that he could not recharge my system because of the fact that it was an R22 coolant. What upset me more than anything is I told them when I made the appointment that it was the old coolant. No one told me that they could not recharge it. Will not suggest them for anything and they lost out on a replacement job.
