Had Best Choice put in a new water supply line on a residential property.

The whole process was pretty smooth. Christian came out and gave me an estimate a few hours after I called.

The work was scheduled and completed about a week after down payment was received.

Anthony and Jarron came out to do the line. They were both good to work with. I ask a lot of questions and annoyingly hover around when the work is being done. Jarron went above and beyond answering all my questions and although he probably thought I was annoying watching him work he didn’t let it show.

The estimate was a little higher than I wanted to pay but when it was all said and done I would still recommend them and call them again in the future.

Line came with a five year warranty.

Best choice was the 4th or 5th plumbing company I contacted after multiple plumbing companies failed. Sam the plumber they came in site, knowledgeable and took his time to make sure every issue was addressed. He knew all the tricks and trades that I could not and I am a contractor with plumbing experience. Sam is a great person, great communication, and great community service.

Don, Ivan and crew were communicative during the process and elaborated on what was going on. Jimmy came back, answered every question and guided me through how to best service my new boiler. The workers know their business...some challenges getting paperwork, but these guys made it worth the wait. Don really made sure we were taken care of, and for that, I am grateful!

I have used this company three times in the past and have not been disappointed at all. Before using Best Choice Plumbing it was a hit or miss trying different plumbers. To me, their name says it all. I had them out today for an estimate to replaced my shut off at the curb plus two drain lines under the house.The gentleman that came out to give me the quote was very informative about what needed to be done, how long it would take and the cost for each part of the job I was told once they get the permits they can begin work. I just got a call saying that they will begin tomorrow morning. Incredible! I feel the price I was quoted was very reasonable and this company really is your Best Choice for any of your plumbing needs.

I have used these guys a few time for a residential property I Owen and my business. They are great at responding and setting appointments. However there where multiple times that the appointments never happened or timing was pushed multiple times. This last issue had me crazy. Easy job of replacing a garbage disposal. One hour job . Guy was 3 hours late complaind about whomever did the initial install. Same day we attempted to run dishwasher. Error on dishwasher that it would not drain. I knew exactly what issue was called at told them he didnt remove drain plug to dishwasher drain.
She said we will have a tech there tomorrow. Again late by 3 hours arrives at 430 no tools in hand and said dishwasher issue need a LG guy to
come. I again call and explain issue in detail that I suspect drain plug not removed. New tech scheduled for next day. He shows up 10 min later fixes it by removing plug to drain on hose.
REALLY ? I should have installed the thing myself for the 585.00

Hats off to Best choice plumbing and Sam I am a real estate investor/landlord with multiple properties throughout the city of Philadelphia and old city, where I have historical land. After accumulating multiple estimates with other companies Sam at best choice plumbing showed up at one of my rental properties and discussed with me how to correct my plumbing problem by re-routing sewage lines that did not require over $17,000 in excautation. Best choice sent out an experienced crew of plumbers who got the job done $7,000 dollars cheaper than all estimes I received from other plumbing outfits. Best choice plumbing and Sam configured a plan excuecuted that plan and done an excellent job including the clean-up and even gave me a discounted referral replacing the concrete needed to be replaced. Thank you Sam and Best choice plumbing.
Disgrace to all other companies who tried ripping me off.

Don’t call them if you need a plumber for your place of business. He literally asked me if I sell things online before quoting me. He quoted me double then the guy before. 3500$ for 40 ft gas pipe extension. This is 200$ of material and 3-4hr job. When I challenged him on the quote, he said “well I need to bring a ladder”. Then he said “it takes money to make money”. So he didn’t give me the price of labor and parts, this company wants a cut from my business. Sickening.

There was no miscommunication, don’t you dare to change the subject. Quote says it all. 50ft of pipe plus hangers are less then 300$ in Home Depot. This means you charge $800 an hour for labor only!! Johnny Depp’s lawyers didn’t make that! Doctors don’t make that! But your guys do? I will agree with you… this is shocking.

You are not “trying hard to serve the community”, you wrote all of that just to look like you care for people checking you out. If you cared you would have called me, looks like you have me in your system.

Please be ashamed and be better, be ethical and be fair. Don’t rob small business owners and people that don’t know much about this stuff.

I have a certified plumber taking this project for $1300 (with 1” black pipe). That says all about you and how much you “care”

Folks, stay away from these people.

I have a leak coming from my shower to the unit under me, the plumber this company sent did nothing but just stand around and talk to me like I knew what he was talking about, he did NOT attempt to look where a leak could possibly be coming from, but instead insisted I calk part of the floor of my shower, and like a fool I agreed to to be charged $190 to have some calk ran across part of my shower floor. Another plumbing company wasting peoples time and money.

Oh and save that "you aren't in our database cr*p," your plumber was here today!

I suggest reading all other reviews of Best Choice Plumbing located on 2510 Orthodox Street in Philadelphia.
I am also one of the home owner who got ripped-off by these monsters. I read previous reviews and now I will be taking action.

They quoted me 3000 and I agreed and signed the contract. After the saleman left and my check was deposited, the saleperson called me and told me the same thing, Miss the pipe is broken, and strated telling me stories like I am from 3rd workd country. NAAAAA. I will let them have my deposit and I know how to screw them the legal way. I AM ON IT.
I heard they paid someone to get the plumbing licemce and I will be reaching out to licencing and inspection to check on these people. They are doing harm to this small communinty and stealing money from them. Poor people dont know how to reach out to the right authorities.

BEWARE OF THEM

I am a home owner and hired this company to do my plumbing work. The price given to me was 3000 and once I paid the deposit they started the work. This company is a ripp off, they started calling me for more money and threatened me that they will stop the work and I will loose my deposit.
I have decided to write a letter to District Attorney "LARRY KRASNER" and have them investigate their business ethics. They are taking money from poor home owners and not sure how they got the plumbing license. All has to be investigated.

If someone had a similar problem then I suggest start writing letters to the Philadelphia District attorneys office so they can open a investigation. Most of their reviews are fake and paid for.

I will go as far possible to nail this plumber so they will not take someones hard money money again.

Be extra careful when giving this company a deposit. Read your contract twice and make sure nothing is hidden. They are not allowed to give you an estimate and then increased the accidental prices. This is considered as a dishonest way of doing business and District Attorney should be advised of this type of businesses.
