I’m not a customer. However my family and I were almost hit by one of the drivers and he proceeded to fully stop his truck and block us in the parking lot. He then said to pull into the next parking lot so he could “break my jaw in” because I was honking my horn at him so he wouldn’t hit us. Was followed by a bunch of nonsense and swearing. Spoke with representatives from the company and they were just as shocked as us and were working on this situation. I’m sure this is just an unfortunate situation and a poor hire. I have no knowledge on how the actual service is but I’m sure it’s a great local company minus this one technician. I do feel the need to share this with everyone though.
We can't say enough wonderful things about the Coldmaster crew. They rescued us when our boiler died in the middle of the winter. They were incredibly professional, knew the technical aspects of the work and how to take care of their customers. The crew works cleanly and required no supervision from us at all. They worked overtime several days in a row to complete the job correctly and get our heat on as soon as possible. Thank you Coldmasters!
We've used Coldmasters for a number of years now. We are in the ice cream business, making all our own product. We cannot afford to have much downtime in the event of a problem. Every time we have needed Coldmasters they've been there for us. In addition to ongoing maintenance at all hours of the night we've also had them install new equipment for us. I like the fact that they have enough technicians so as to have one on-call all the time. I would recommend them to anyone needing great refrigeration service.
Our bakery lost AC and our buttercream was melting! All the other places I called either didn't call me back or it was going to take a week and half to get out to me. Coldmasters came out late that day, checked it, ordered the items to be overnighted and we're back in 48 hours to fix it! Fantastic personnel to work with both on site and in the office! And it was a lot less than I was expecting!
How do I start. I was having a problem with my walking cooler so I called my tech he changed the compressor. fast forward 15 months and the compressor went down. the same company changed the compressor again. two days later the cooler stopped working. he came back and changed another part. one day later it stopped he came back and said I needed several other parts. while he was out to get the parts the cooler worked normal. when he came back i said no need to change these parts. ten days later i called cold masters having been recommended by someone i had called to see if they work on commercial units.
I spoke with the girls in the office Debb and Stephanie. They listened to my story and I asked them if I could have someone check the cooler out. Debb let me speak with Greg. Greg said to me after we set up the account application he would dispatch a tech to see what was wrong. He also said he would come out personally and see what the problem was.
sure enough the next day tech Tony showed up, very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. He worked on the unit after having listened to my concerns. a short few minutes later Greg showed up and we met. Greg joined Tony dissecting the problem. Greg and Tony told me that they would get the supplier to warranty the compressor to save me money. I was given an estimate and was told the work would be done the next day. Today Tony came in and completely fixed every single thing that was wrong with the unit. He rerouted piping, rewired unit, lifted unit off floor, secured piping to wall so that it would not move, he insulated every exposed pipe and the list is endless.
The cooler came on and I am in business again. why am i writing this detailed description? Well I want to say it was cheaper for me to pay slightly higher hourly price but I saved by getting a company that gets it right the first time around. You get the expertise of the tech and his supporting supervisor Greg who is like a scientist when it came down to diagnosing this thing.
Great job Tony, Greg, Debb and Stephanie. I am very grateful for your hard work. thanks Coldmasters.

I have nothing but a completely disappointing experience with ColdMasters while working towards a resolution for my broken AC. It has been two weeks now, and after two faulty diagnoses and the ordering of a part on July 3rd, I still see no resolution in sight.
The first technician that came to evaluate the problem blamed it on the vent system and suggested adding more vents, which would have cost a fortune. Not to mention that the reasons he gave for the AC not working provided no explanation for why it had worked perfectly well before--he suggested closing the blinds and opening the door to the closet the unit it in. If our AC was not working due to ventilation, then how do they explain the fact that it worked flawlessly last summer? It seemed like a lazy and expensive diagnosis, so we complained and asked them to come back.
The next technician had a completely different diagnosis of the problem, and chalked it up to some type of computer part. The part was ordered on July 3rd. It is now July 13th and we have not been contacted by ColdMasters. After calling them today, they seem to have no sense of urgency to get this fixed. In fact, the woman we spoke with seemed completely unconcerned about the situation.
They are not customer service oriented at all!
