Around six years ago, we called upon Valcourt to replace our central air conditioning. From the same night they installed it until the final phone conversation, we have had nothing but trouble with the unit. When the pipes froze up and the temperature in the house approached 99 in the evening, we called for service and were refused. We had a contentious phone conversation with Chad at which time he refused to send a tech. We had to pack up and head two hours north to our son’s house for relief. When we subsequently called for service the following year, we were told that Chad would not allow service to our home. We have since been told by a reputable heating/cooling company that the unit was not installed properly. Today, we are, once again without ac and are waiting for service from another company. Chad’s guys are great but he is rude and confrontational.
They charge you for the time they take in on the road from the previous client to your house when I called to make an appointment and asked for pricing I wasn’t told about the extra for the road Anyway time passes and decided to just give them a call again because was recommended by my oil supplier called today the girl who answered the phone looked up my name and tells me she had to ask the owner because I haven't used their service since 2017 30 minutes later the owner calls me back saying that they not going to service me because last time I called back asking for an explanation about the price well I’m glad since I was no to smart for giving them a second chance they denied me service I did found a company not far from them that will do the service for me plus not charge me “road money “ I mean the girl who answered my phone should’ve just told me why she had to ask the boss and not lie to me by making up stories that right there tells you what good costumer service we get! Anyway I did called back my oil supplier and told them they should totally stop recommending Valcourt to anyone. The only reason for one star review is because can’t be negative 💯

After going without heat and hot water for two days and calling them out of desperation, I was interrogated on how or why I called them. Do not waste your time on such an inconsiderate company.
Valcourt have helped me out many times over the years. Yesterday I had a thermostat changed. Great service - professional, prompt and knowledgeable. Thank you Valcourt!
Had a great experience. Broiler went out overnight. Called Valcourt at 0800. Three hours later my system was up running. Great company. Dependable, great customer service and very trustworthy. Thank you Chad.
We were in desperate need of a new furnace in the dead of winter and decided to switch to gas from oil. We contacted Valcourt (Chad) and he came out quickly, reviewed our old furnace, and gave us an estimate. Valcourt was our lowest estimate but our selection was also based on three building contractor recommendations and their knowledge of his work. This company is horrible do not go here they do not fix the problem they are rude and will leave you in the cold. Choose any other heating options in the area you will be grateful you did.
