Worst experience and did not even get to work with them. Just keeping an appt was such a bad experience. The tech called me to confirm the appt and did not show. Wait, it gets better. Ken, the tech, said that knocked on my door and left me a voicemail. I sat for 20 minutes in the yard with my cell in my hand. I will never contact Petro for anything. They lost a big sale!!!
Frustrated that left work early to meet this clown.

Have been a Petro customer for 20 years now. They have continued to provide the best in products and services. You can always depend on Norm and his entire team of seasoned technicians who are “second to none”. They always fix it and fix it right!

If I could give half a star I would. We've had nothing but issues since signing the contract in September 2020. They happily take your money but don't deliver the oil until you call and complain. The technician who's supposed to clean the furnace didn't show up until after midnight and didn't even clean it, the supervisor had to come out to ensure it was done before Rise would come back to install insulation. I can't wait to switch to gas and never deal with Petro again.

The only company that would help my 92 year old father with a heating system breakdown during a fridged January cold snap and late at night to boot. Other companies told me days to weeks for a visit for no heat, they were there within a few hours. Based on the response and same day help and next day follow-up to complete the repair, they will be our company go forward, end of story. Pleasant experience from the initial call to the service repair technician.

The system that Petro installed three years ago has been reliable up to a few months ago and now shuts down at least once per week. Two separate Petro technicians have been dispatched and both have spent more time talking - and in both visits never tried to diagnose and repair my system. The last technician committed to get back to me and I have never heard any followup - my only option is to request yet another service call. Is this what it is like to be a Petro service agreement customer?

I could not recommend staying away from this company enough. We have been a customer for years and last night received possibly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Our oil tank ran low about a week ago. As a result of this we wound up with a clogged Filter/Nozzle. This is a simple fix. We had no heat/hot water for a couple of days but were making due.
We received oil from another company as the prices at Petro were completely outrageous, however were now dealing with the issue above. I called in for service last night and was promptly told that my account had been cancelled. The person I spoke with (Sheila V.) told me that my fiancée had called in months ago and told them that we were moving out, cancelling our account, and having tenants move in. This was news to both of us, as we sat in the cold living room at this address. Despite the fact that this was a clear error on their part they refused to assist us. The original "pitch" was that we needed an account to get service. When I made it clear to them that we never closed our account, they then told us we needed to be signed up for their automatic delivery to receive service. When I told them that I had oil in the tank and could not take a delivery they would not help us. I then gave up, and told them that I would sign up for the automatic delivery (at their ridiculous prices), but could not take any oil at this time.
Once again, the goalposts were moved on me. I was now told that I needed to have a delivery this week or they would not do service. I offered to allow them to deliver 10 gallons, as we couldn't take any more and had been sitting in the cold for days and Sheila basically laughed me off. She told me that, now, unless they could deliver a full tank, because per their estimates based on no factual information of our usage, we "should" be completely empty they would need to deliver a full tank this week or we couldn't receive service. I was, literally, trying SO hard to give this company my business and money, but they wouldn't take it.
This company is a joke. A sham, manipulating numbers and facts to bend customers to their whim. I will happily be taking the business of all properties in my name, current and future, elsewhere

Emergency oil delivery. I just moved into the house and never heated with oil so they tank was getting low and they made it a point to make sure that there was and emergency fill up a week before I thought it needed it. This was especially crucial seeing seeing as I was away when they delivered it during one of the colder snaps in December. Very professional setting up the appointment and clean on their delivery. 2 thumbs up. 😊

I wish I could give them a zero stars, because this company has consistently and constantly bullied me every time my contract was up for renewal. They're basically telling me that going with another company would be a mistake, and I would never get the same service.
I am so sick and tired of paying more than a dollar over what everyone else is paying for oil and it's ridiculous. In my opinion, their service is no different than anyone else, except for the fact that they now wait longer to deliver my oil, which makes the bill even higher. I'm being put in the popr house because this company doesn't have my best interests in mind. I wish I can go back 5 years and go with a different company back then. I will never do business with this company again.

After being a customer with 3 rental properties, my guaranteed price per gallon for oil was raised by 40%. When speaking with your representative, she lied and stated that the price was as low as they could possibly go. I said no thank you and proceeded to get a succession of sales people calling and offering a minimally lower price.
Seriously, all I had to do was call your competitors to see what their price was. In the end I got a per gallon price that was lower that your 2021 price and got 24/7 service. What kind of business are you? Your people tell lies and show no loyalty to a long term customer.

Great service! They were able to come out the same day to resolve my issue. Very professional and the technician was extremely knowledgeable. He fixed the problem very quickly. So happy to have this company for my oil and heating services!
