Preferred Choice is great. Brittany is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to about issues. She was able to get Tyler, the tech, to our home for service as soon as she could. Tyler was kind, calm, and professional. Also very reassuring - all electric went done as he arrived. But he did the work and our A/C came on when the electric came back on. As he said it would. Thanks to you both. Could not have asked for better service.

When I called for service as a REALTOR in the Upstate area, looking for an inspection on a system where my buyers had a contract, they knew EXACTLY what I wanted. I wanted to have the insides of the system completely opened up so the technician could see the condenser, the coils, the compressor and everything else that needed to be inspected. She explained what kind of report they would be sending so that the consumer and I could understand it. I told her we were up against a deadline and she managed to get a time that was convenient for all parties ... at a VERY reasonable price. I did have to cancel because the work was already done by the seller, unbeknownst to me at the time. Although I fibbed a little by saying I had used them in order to be able to write this review, I just wanted to acknowledge how professional, responsive and reasonably priced they were, and how much they understood our needs. I will call again! Thank you Preferred!!

I will never use this company again had used them for 3 or 4 years getting bi yearly maintenance on my system, had another reputable company clean my ducts they found mold all in my outdoor unit that had been there for quite some time, these guys had inspected 3 months earlier and told all is good. Guy I spoke to at the office apologized and said hewould try to get me a refund as they hit my card every month.Well guess what too bad for me no call or anything from the owner very poor business decision on his part big ripoff they are!!!

We have been using Preferred Heating and Air for a year and they have been nothing but professional, curteous and very knowledgeable. Travis did a great job explaining everything to my wife and I about the different units and his recommendations. Everyone who has been involved from taking our phone calls to the maintenance and now installation of our new system have been great! I enjoy the professionalism that this company provides. From the phone conversations to the end where the technician goes over everything they have done in detail. Always have been on time and if they are running behind they have always called ahead to let me know in a timely manner. The tech's respect the homes of the owners and never leave trash or items behind. We have used this company many times for repair and installation.

5 Star Update:

I continue to use Preferred Choice for spring and fall service. They continue to exceed expectations. I had a small issue a year after my install. I won’t go into the details, just to say that they so exceeded my expectations with the way they handled the issue that my story will be the stuff of casual conversation from me for some time.

These guys are great. You receive all the details with a follow up e-mail for each proposal. All questions are answered up front (Travis is wonderful explaining the details). Install is Scheduled well in advance. The team arrives and takes care of business leaving no trace behind other than a new, top notch system. All members of the team present themselves as the pros they are. And they even follow up to ensure everything is right. The biggest question: yes, I would use them again.

I had a great experience with this company. They are a first-class operation, and the name PREFERRED CHOICE is absolutely a perfect name. They are now my "Preferred Choice" company for HVAC and heating. They are definitely experts on dual zone systems with only one unit and they're completely knowledgeable how they work and how to repair them They came highly recommended from my neighbor and I'm grateful that he gave me their name. The receptionist was very pleasant, helpful and immediately directed my call to Brittany. Brittany who is the scheduler and dispatcher was also very pleasant, helpful and just a delight to work with. Our technician was Tyler, and he was by far the best technical person who ever worked on my system. He was so polite, clean worker, extremely knowledgeable, spent extra time checking everything associated with the systems. He took temperature readings of every vent, and he did not leave until he re-checked everything, he repaired and re-set several times to make sure the system was working properly and efficiently. As you can see, I can't say enough good things about this company and its employees.

Wow! Very impressed! I put in a service request on Sunday afternoon thinking “at least I’ll be in the cue for tomorrow”. With 5 minutes Andy called me back - pleasant, responsive, and ready to come that day if needed. He told me that Brittany would call me on Monday morning to set up a time.

Brittany called me on Monday at 8:05 AM. Told me Andy would arrive in 30-45 minutes. Andy was early. So polite, knowledgeable, wonderful. Had me all fixed up within an hour.

Top notch customer service. Top notch technical knowledge!! Fair pricing. If I could give them a 10 I would!

I have used Tom Moss with Preferred Choice Heating and Air for the past 8 years. He has installed new HVAC systems in our past two homes as well as provided yearly maintenance. Tom, Megan, and installers are all very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They are will to go the extra mile, and if a problem does arise, they make it right. Tom does not oversell, but has been spot on with his recommendations. Lower bills and cooler temps are much appreciated. I highly recommend Tom Moss with Preferred Choice Heating and Air!!
