The sales man (Brian) convinced us that we needed our ducts cleaned. The technicians said “only a bit of dust came out”. Either the One Hour Heating and Air sales man was dishonest or the One Hour Heating and Air technicians were ineffective.

Additionally, the technician did not stand on the beams in the attic and instead smashed a hole in our ceiling so we have that to deal with.

Essentially, we paid $1000 for an unclear reason/result, which resulted in a hole in our ceiling, our wall paint being ruined, our house smelling bad, and dirt and debris scattered about.

10/10 do not recommend.

Update: One Hour Heating and Air did pay for the majority of the costs to repair the drywall, however my sentiments about the duct cleaning remain unchanged.

Terrible experience. I called for a minor indoor issue and was told by the technician that the outside unit needed rewiring before indoor issue could be fixed ($450). I paid the service call fee ($125) and said no thanks. I called another AC company and they told me the technician before them had disconnected most of my outdoor wiring and he rewired it free of charge and then fixed my blown fuse issue inside. No charge. Good luck with these guys. I'm sure this isn't the first time that they sabotage customers and then ask for pay to repair the issue they caused. I called to speak to a supervisor about the situation and haven't heard back from anyone. Service date was 4-26-2022.

This use to be a great company, but my guess is they are pushing techs to hit a certain $/visit or some other metric rather than provided quality service as they did before . I was lied twice about what was agreed to. The story seemed to keep changing. Manager wanted to offer "free services" but have me pay the new price. The price that was not agreed to. I told him all I want is to pay the agreed to price and be done with this. After much back and forth and him hanging up on me once, he finally agreed to over $600 for a HVAC Freon recharge on a small system(2 bedroom condo). Still a complete rip off.

Shawn is the best. He gets the job done fast and keeps me up to date on my services. I only use this service and keep a very affordable service agreement because I trust him. -->>Two months later for another call and he is still the greatest about service. He is punctual and attentive to the customer. He's keeping us cool this hot July 4th holiday.

These guys did a great job working on the heat pump at my vacation home recently, they were prompt & punctual, responsive 24/7, and charge an amazing $99 price on service calls anytime of the day (no "after-hours" up-charges). Their service plan packages are awesome too. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone use One Hour HVAC for last minute emergencies or scheduled service plans. Shout outs to Kim, Stephanie, and Shawn for doing a great job! Thanks a bunch

Not a great experience, but with the help of their manager, not a absolutely terrible one.
In June I started having troubles with my 20 year old HVAC. Something I had been expecting for a long time. A tech came by to fix the issue, but said he didn't know how long the fix would last. So, we decided to go ahead and schedule a date to replace the entire HVAC system since we had a newborn at the house and he said with the way everything is there can be a long wait.
Fast forward to the replacement date, the techs were nice, ran into some troubles, but it was replaced that day. About a week later the system completely shut off and we had to call them back for maintenance. They fix that issue quickly (8 hours or so without AC).
Fast forward another two or so weeks and our entire system shut down again. He came last Thursday and said basically two plugs had a surge that blew up and that they could only temporarily fix it until they got a new plug. We had to go with the temporary fix because again we have a newborn and no family to stay with nearby. The temporary fix was to basically cut in a wrong size fan that ra continuously. The part took more than a week to arrive, but was fixed on September 1st and because of all of the difficulties the manager was nice enough to cover the cost of the surge protector.
They are definitely a sales company and try to sell you something with each visit , but the issues were taken care of as quickly as they could and they did honor their warranty.
So, all in all, decent company but not without troubles.

We have experienced excellent customer service from the Myrtle beach office. Travis our technician was on time, courteous, performed services as scheduled, and presented the condition as he saw it and showed us the results. Dealing with the office staff; Heather, and others were always friendly, informative and helpful. We purchased a new unit and were offered some options with both the units and warranty. They honor a military/first responders discount as well, which is greatly appreciated. Thank you and keep up the great job!

I have been subscribed to the ongoing maintenance plan with One Hour for several years. They setup an appointment every 6 months to clean and maintain your A/C unit(s).

If you have not been on such a plan before, I highly recommend it. In our area, your highest electricity use is almost certainly your A/C (during the summer here in Charleston, SC: my A/C is consistently between 55% and 70% of my electricity usage). Having regular maintenance helps reduce those costs as well as reducing/preventing downtime and repair costs.

The technicians are always very courteous and friendly.
It appears that One Hour makes an unusual effort to provide ongoing training for the folks that service your equipment.

The technicians who arrive to provide maintenance usually have a comparatively narrow window of time (2 hours is the widest range that I can recall). And even though they clearly must have time constraints, they have always been gracious to discuss every little concern I may have had.

I have found the maintenance provided by One Hour to be extremely thorough overall; and at times has frequently been dramatically more comprehensive and knowledgeable than I ever would have expected.

One minor note: if you have multiple A/C units (like I do), they do bill you individually per month per unit (I think annual billing or such may be available). It’s not a problem, I just chuckle every time I see the two individual charges per month. No harm done, just funny. 😀

One Hour Heating and AC is superb: Responsive, Reasonable, and they do great work. We’ve been using them for 4 years and are delighted. The technician we use the most is Shawn and he is really exceptional: he knows our properties, HVAC units, and what the best course of action is to fix/repair or replace.

Went above the duty when installing our new unit. When we had hurricane Matthew we flipped they came the same day we got our power back. They have come to us as late as 10:00 at night if we needed anything. They were kind, knowledgeable and always smiling when they answered my questions. The staff on the office had been easy to work with as well, getting the extended warranty was easy and fast.
