    Service call started with him being late. Called him on a Jet on tub issue, and a painting issue. Came for service call on Saturday and I paid the “ diagnostic fee”, with his response being he would have answers on Monday. No text Monday so I followed up on Tuesday. I was blown off with him stating he was waiting on the reps to get back to him. Continued to get excuses all week. No answers.
    I was able to call the tub company and get through on first try in the meantime. He also took my leftover paint and has thus far( and after several requests to return), not dropped my leftover paint off. It’s been 3 weeks.
    2.5 hours of my time wasted plus 99$ for a diagnosis of nothing.
    Beware, this felt extremely scam like to me and I would not recommend. It was disrespectful of my time, money, and horrible lack of follow through.
    I hope no one else has to go through this.

    I was really happy with Jim and the service he provided. Even though he was running late, he communicated the delay and didn't try to reschedule. I appreciate that schedules change based on other jobs, but I appreciated the high level of communication more. During the repair visit Jim took time to show me what he was seeing and talk me through what he was doing. I was very happy with Jim and will call Music City Home Services again.

    6/12/2020 - 1st Appointment
    Diagnosis: compressor fried
    - $79 diagnostic fee, paid 6/12/2020
    - $905 quote to replace fridge with used fridge he had, or $1,200 parts/labor to fix compressor - took this second option, paid $945 total upon delivery, which he said would be the next day, and it wasn’t.

    6/14/2020: Delivery/replacement of fridge
    At delivery, we requested 1) adjustment of right side french door, as it was sitting lower and missing bolt/nut at hinge and 2) ice maker bucket replacement since the one he brought over was cracked/damaged.
    Unprofessional during delivery: he arrived with his 18 year old son, and 10 year old daughter at 9:15 PM. As he and his son worked on hauling away the old refrigerator, and bringing in and installing the purchased refrigerator, his 10 year old daughter was in the kitchen, looking around at everything. Friendly child, and yet — why is there a child in my home? Delivery was completed and they left the premises at 10:45 PM.

    We also noticed, after the fact, that the fridge we purchased is from 2014 per the manufacturer/model number. Jim had told us the fridge he had for us was from 2016.

    It took Jim a very long time to bring over the replacement bucket and repair the door. He was non-responsive to texts and calls for days at a time, and would cancel/change tentative appointments. Only after expressing the possibility of me returning fridge under the 45 day warranty and getting a full refund, and to additionally write to the BBB, he responded immediately and showed up that same day. It had been at least 3 weeks after initial delivery, if not longer.

    8/21/2020 - noticed items in “new” freezer were beginning to frost over, and the ice maker was leaking, and the fridge portion seemed to be warmer than normal.

    8/23/2020: ice maker leaking water, ice cubes from dispenser always preceded by lots of water. Ice cubes were melty looking and misshapen. The fridge temp noticeably higher, and it’s been determined that the fridge is broken completely.

    Jim was very professional and did a great job fixing our oven door today. He cleaned the glass for us which was great because we had tried to take it apart to clean it ourselves and couldn't do it! Once we took it apart we couldn't figure out how to put it back together. I would highly recommend Music City Home Service!

    Jim was awesome! Very through and professional! He really knows his stuff! I really like the updates via text messages, when he's on the way ! Number 1 in my book, and Music City Service, is my go to for appliance repair!

    I’ve had Jim come to my home to fix things outside of my skill set on a number of occasions, and each time I am left satisfied with the quality of the work, as well as the cost associated with it.

    Jim is kind enough to take some time to educate me on what work is being done while simultaneously being a good conversationalist. For a layperson, like myself, it means a lot to me that he would go out of his way to help me understand what is being done while he is in my home. I can’t recommend him or his services enough.

    Jim was prompt and Friendly. His pricing is fair and the work is solid. My dryer died during all of the holiday festivities and Jim able to work me in with in 24 hours and kindly answer all of my questions with a smile(even the dumb ones) . The work was done in a snap as well and he was very good with my dogs. I will be using these services in the future when I need a handy man. Thanks for the excellent service and Pricing!

    Have used Music City Home Services for a few occasions and Jim has been wonderful every time! He has fixed sinks, dryer, refrigerator/freezer, and toilets. He's extremely handy and will continue to use him for every repair needed.
