Abilene Cooling & Heating

Over my years in Abilene I have dealt with several AC repair companies. I was expecting the normal overpriced service and crazy markup on any parts I needed. Boy was I wrong. The techs that came out (I'm sorry I did not get their names) were on time, friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of AC repair and proceeded to assess my my 22 year old unit. I had several problems which they addressed and advised me of the problem before they continued with the repair. Once I approved the repair they had in stock on their truck the parts needed to complete the job at a price that was very reasonable. I will never use any other AC service in Abilene. We’ve called Jay multiple times for various jobs on our heating and cooling units. He’s very knowledgeable on the system and can usually diagnose the problem just by listening to my explanation over the phone. His crew is always on time, professional and does a great job! I highly recommend!

Would reccomend this company to anyone needing a/c work, especially fellow veterans! I called Tuesday evening to ask for an appointment Wednesday morning, due to having to wait for my pay to deposit. Jay offered advice to help me try to defrost the coils and not suffer too much over night, then scheduled me for the next morning. The technician showed up at the exact time, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and had cold air blowing again in less than an hour. The cost was well below what I expected, and then they gave me a 10% military discount and thanked me for my service on top of it all. Will definitely call them with any future issues!

Best a/c repair company in Abilene!! Jay and his crew are dependable and honest, which is extremely hard to find with the price gouging that most of these companies around here do. They are always on time, answer my hundreds of questions, and are super friendly. It gives me peace of mind knowing that they always tell me the truth and are so affordable. I orginally contacted several HVAC companies through google and Abilene Heating and Cooling was the first to respond (within minutes) the next closest competitor took over 4 hours.

I knew in advance that my AC was done for. They came and gave me very good estimates for a new unit + installation. They were not the lowest or the highest price wise but a solid middle ground.

Jay had a team install the new units in a timely manner. He also verified that all of my existing drainage was cleared (had an issue with my line being clogged and backing up with water)

I have since used him again on my 2nd AC unit when the fan went out on it. He responded to my message and within the hour he had driven to my house and identified the problem. Fixed this new and separate issue with no hassle.

Customer for life! I have been treated with respect during every interaction. You may think "yeah of course" but not in today's world. I felt like I was taken care of. I knew I was in good hands by someone who truly wanted to help me and not just take my money. I will continue to use them and reccomend them to anyone I who has need of this service.
