Wow! What great service and timely too, given the demands they must have now with the temps soaring to 100. Our upstairs system went out and their technician, Ray, responded with a very professional and caring explanation of what needed to be done. I was very impressed with his proficiency and knowledge. Ray is definitely an asset to this company. I would highly recommend Lakeway A/C and Heating to anyone needing a reliable service for their home A/C needs.
AC went out over the weekend so I paid for a weekend service call. My old unit was out of Freon & I was informed nothing could be done because Freon was banned & I needed to buy a whole new system. Understanding the old system is 17 years old & does in fact need to be replaced, leaving me in the heat with a lie that replacement was my ONLY option (Freon production stopped, but there is still recycled & existing stock available) was unnecessary & they lost my business as a result. I purchased another system with a company that recharged my system to keep me cool while my new system is pending to be installed.
***Update*** Another company came out the same day and fixed my problem. No need to wait for a part to be ordered, he had one in stock. The other company called my home warranty and it took about 7 minutes in total. The bill was $1100 and he was paid in full. Please see Lakeway AC's irrational response to this review. Companies who care about customer service take these conversations offline.
They came out bc my A/C was out. They got it going only for it to break a week later. Now I am in "wait for the part to come in land". I need to be reimbursed by my home warranty and the Office Manager is not willing to make one call to my home warranty to confirm their credentials and send in the work order. That's it. I'm paying out of pocket. Meanwhile, it has been over 100 degrees most days. I guess customer service doesn't exist anymore.

Diagnosed the problem in about ten minutes, fixed it in another fifteen minutes and our unit was humming cold again! He explained as he went, was thoroughly professional and personable, and the price was certainly reasonable. It is obvious this is a wonderful business and we’re lucky to have them.
They don't stand behind their work and after they didn't make a proper repair and I had an issue 1 week after they came to my house they wanted another $150 just for the service call on a Saturday. They told me to wait til Monday. It's over 100 degrees! I'll never use them again. After checking them out with a few other people it turns out they have a reputation for poor workmanship and customer service. There are many other reputable HVAC folks with way better service and more reasonably priced.
John, the owner, is a super nice guy. He spent lots of time giving me advice on air conditioning my garage, going through all the options, and even offered to let me borrow one of their portable AC units to see if it would be enough cooling for me. As a Lakeway resident, I will for sure be doing business with them in the future!

Miguel was very professional and took the time to explain our problem to us and what items may need maintenance in the near future. We will use them for all of our heat & AC needs going forward!
My AC went out on a Sunday evening and was sure it was going to be a long night. I was referred to them by a friend and gave them a call. Not only did they show up on a Sunday, but they were there in 15 minutes. The repair costs were very reasonable and I had the AC cold before we had to put the kids to bed. Thanks for the quick and professional service!
Had a new HVAC system installed today and could not have been more pleased with the customer service we were given from original meeting to completion of the project. Kelly, Ryan and Tony are "top notch", definitely know what they are doing and I am very happy I took the chance and called Lakeway Air Conditioning and Heating-a company I had never used before. My roommate's called Precision Heating and Air, and they sent out a sales guy to try to sell us a whole new air conditioner. We were pretty sure we didn't need a new one, so i called Lakeway Air Conditioning and Heating and spoke with John. I let him know that i wouldn't be available till after 6:30pm because i'm working and he came out around 7:00 and had our Air Conditioner fixed by 8:30. What a great company that is local, fast, knowledgeable, and HONEST!
