I owned a six year old York unit that had issues pretty much from the initial installation. I reached out to Century hoping to get assistance for a failed pressure gauge. Chris Boem was able to get an hour or service approved and the gauge even though the support warranty had expired. About a week later, the unit had another issue. Craig Schooler then got engaged. He felt it was going to be very difficult to get this unit up and running consistently, so he worked with York to completely replace the unit. Craig, Chris, and Century saw the number of issues i had with the prior unit and felt complete replacement was the correct and fair thing to do. I was impressed and thankful with the speed that Century was able to get me back to good. I would very highly recommend them.
I purchased a premium York air conditioner 3 years ago from a different AC company. It was working with the exception the thermostat displayed Error Faults 3 to 5 times daily. Even with all the error faults it still kept on cooling my house. But 2 or 3 times a year it would stop working completely and I'd have to call the original installer (Not Named Here) to perform warranty work. He couldn't find anything wrong and just reset the system which would work for a few months and considered it fixed. He quit taking my calls.
Finally I called Craig Schooler at Century A/C Supply and explained my situation. He referred me to his top York company, Ken's Heating and Air in Marble Falls. I live in Austin TX... Ken Goad, his technician, and Craig with Century all came out and spent over 5 hours trouble shooting the entire system. They finally discovered the original company I purchased it from had messed up and wired the system incorrectly. After 5 hours, my system was fixed!
With their many years of experience, Craig along with Ken's Heating and Air were the only company that took the time to diagnose my AC correctly and fix it. They went above and beyond good service! They were all there for over 5 hours in the heat! If you ever have an AC problem or need a new AC installed, I highly recommend calling Craig at Century AC and Ken Goad and the staff at Ken's Heating and Air as the only AC company you should call. Any company can sell you an AC, but very few can actually fix it if something goes wrong.
