This company really rocks! Our AC went out during the hottest days this year due to old age and our previous AC company would not come out until 5 days later. I called Malek and they sent out Travis the same day. Travis was super helpful and fixed the old unit temporarily until the new unit came 4 days later. The install crew was top notch and had our old unit out and the new one installed in just 4 hours. Travis even offered us a portable unit to carry us over in case it is getting too warm in between. Travis is super knowledgeable, very nice and professional. Thank you Malek Service Company and Travis for saving us! 🙏🙂

I was in a pretty dire situation where I had been without working AC for 3+ days. My builder didn’t really give me any good options, and I felt that the company that they recommended was unprofessional and subpar. I’ve been in my home for two years now, and did not expect to have any issues this early. Misty one of their dispatchers took my call when I was in dire need outside of their regular business hours address my concerns voiced any and the best possible options within Malek services and was able to schedule me into their busy summer schedule the following day. Michael Krause The technician arrived with a positive attitude, and proved to be a subject matter expert, addressing any of my questions and providing long lasting solutions to my problem. After his initial visit, he left me with the statement that “I’ll check on the part when I get back to the office and let you know.” I was impatient and called to inquire about the parts availability before hearing anything and while on that same call 30 minutes after his visit, he was scheduling the repair with the part in their inventory and an appointment for the following day. He called before arriving to give me plenty of time to be present for the service and superseded my expectations. My unit is now up and running. I’m left a happy customer, in a bit more debt but when you call a professional they deserve to be paid for their efforts. I appreciate you Misty and Michael. You gave your company a good name.

I used Malek for a toilet repair on a rental property we own. I signed up for the yearly service, but still got a bit of sticker shock after the cost of the repairs (on top of the yearly fee). HOWEVER, I spoke with Jordan at Malek and he was fantastic. He explained their pricing and their value they bring to long term customers. As a business owner, I appreciate their approach. But seeing as how this is for a rental property that we will likely not own long, I did not want to continue the yearly agreement. They refunded me the difference in the yearly fee and the trip charge, which was fantastic. While I do not have a contract with them, they were very professional in handling my situation. If my permanent residence were in B/CS, I would use them and recommend them.

They replaced our outside unit within 3 days of us paying. They are super fast. They were also the least expensive with the best value out of 2 other companies we got quotes from. Would definitely recommend.

I called after hours on a weekend, and my call was returned quickly and the response was courteous and friendly. I was given an ETA for a tech to arrive and proceeded to wait. When the tech finished at the service call before mine, I was texted that he was on his way, and a picture of the gentleman who would be arriving.
My repair was somewhat uncommon, as a limb had fallen into the condenser unit outside the house and bent the housing such that the cooling fan would not turn. Even so, he went to work and within an hour had bent the housing back to a functional state, and returned our A/C to cooling!

I contacted Malek at 5:10pm Thursday. Misty took the call and walked me through the prices for the service call. I selected the protection plan for the year which cover’s emergency call out and diagnosis for the whole year for both HVAC and plumbing. She explained the technician was on another job but would be out as soon as he finished. At 7:40pm Thursday I received a text that the technician was en route. He arrived and discovered the capacitor was out. The AC was fixed in 5 minutes. I have been very pleased with the promptness and professionalism Malek has shown. Will continue to use them in the future.

They installed a water heater and were supposed to come back in a year to flush it at our cost of course. They left us hanging twice, once just to tell us they needed to go back and get the chemicals (which they should have with them if they came for a purpose!) and another time did not show up at all. Also, last year we called them to look at our AC and all they wanted to do was add miscellaneous expenses that were not relevant rather than getting the job done. This is a vendor that should be avoided. Barker's is a much better vendor for the money and trustworthy and ethical.
