In our six-year history with Trane's El Paso office, we have been tremendously disappointed. In the sales process, Trane overpromised and underdelivered. We are a non-profit organization (a church), so paying $160,000 for a Trane Chiller system was expensive for us, but we went with Trane because they promised the moon, and that they would be there to walk us through everything we needed and fix anything when we had difficulties. We perform all of the required routine maintenance, but now Trane tells us that since we don't pay them to do the maintenance (they are very expensive) it's our fault when something goes wrong--even though it has NEVER worked correctly or consistently since day one. Now we are financially committed to a system that frequently fails, mechanically, electronically, and with poor/expensive customer service. We would not reccomend Trane (at least the El Paso office) to any small or mid-sized business, unless you are prepared to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars on an ongoing basis and put up with frequent issues.
