Northern Tool + Equipment

I have never been disappointed at a Northern Tool & Equipment Store. They offer a wide range of brand name products at very affordable prices. The store is clean and well lighted with excellent merchandise presentation. Store associates are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Good customer service when they are available on the floor!

Terrible around 5:30 PM On a Thursday there's Only 2 people working one is cashier who is completely unhelpful. And you can't find the other person To ask about tools .If you go back to the cashier to ask for information you're greeted with a healthy dose of Snarky attitude and an "I don't know".. at this location Frankly I don't think you could get any help if all you needed was a bucket for water and you were on fire.

I wanted to leave a review for Norris, Anthony and Jose every time I come here which has been more than 5 years due to the great help. Advice and great service with a touch of a great personalities. I would recommend the whole city to go to these guys!! They know there work and will never lead you wrong nor will your pressure washer or anything else come out of here running better than the day you bought it by the way they work. Great people all around Norris is the best! I highly recommend Bellfort and 45 when it comes to getting everything from generators to pressure washers to lawn mowers do anything with a motor in it they will not lead you wrong. This is the reason I give them a 5 star rating I've never had such a great interaction and personal relations from coming here so long but all I can say is NORRIS KNOWS HIS STUFF AND IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!!

Armando, thank you for making my shopping experience a great one. This was my first time in a store like this. It's not easy being a woman shopping for tools and equipment that men usually shop for. Honest review of my experience of purchasing a product and finding it scratched/damaged when I got home.

First the Manger (Maria) and Associate (Stephen) where very irritated in the fact that I was returning the product for when I first called stateing that I felt like they must of sold me a display or returned product. Scratches are one thing but scratches far exceeding the primer coat of any new product in my eyes is damaged. Rust will set in quickly and curb appeal would be gross (I love tools and i have a make shift personal mechanic shop in my garage it's my hobbie.)

Put it short there display was in better condition.

Maria maybe took it personal when I called stated the product sold to me was a display or returned but had an attitude when she asked me to bring in the product that ways over a hundred pounds then was disgusted when I asked for a dolly and went to the back. Stephen showed up with a dolly and helped.

Then had a conversation with Stephen over what or how is it that they could of sold the product that was that damaged/scratched and simply put someone else will buy it if i didn't want it. My father then complained why make customers drive back and forward. And said it was your choice to bring it back. As a manger he should be fired over such a asinine comment. I didn't felt like arguing so i took my money back and left.

So heads up. If your looking for a 20ton press if you get it from there they will resell it to you knowing it was damaged. Stephen was very proud to let me know someone else would buy it. I offered to buy it now knowing the damaged at discount refused and stated that wasn't company policy which I can accept. But later was told by the manager if Stephen could build it. I seriously doubt it was to display it. I'm sure it's gonna be put at a discount.

I will continue to buy from this place for it's not the companies fault for terrible associates but they should reevaluate there need for a new manager that can lead a group of associates to a better standard then what I have experienced. Especially one that doesn't leave the associates and customer because they where upset.

Went to buy a generator and had lots of gift cards to use for my purchase. Maria the cashier had to enter each card manually. There were about 12 cards. She was very nice and patient with us. Will definitely come back.

I Googled “reflective jacket near me” and Northern Tool came up. So of course I came here immediately to buy one and I’m glad I did. The selection was great and the staff was very friendly. I have to come back another time to shop for tools. From the short time I was there I could see that they have a lot to choose from. I will definitely return soon.
