I have Been using Kirk Air Conditioning for 20 years. I would not use anyone else! They have designed and installed at least two new units for me, and and continue to service all of my systems. They are completely friendly, honest and conscientious from ownership through each and every technician. I trust them in my home, with pets everything. They are one of my great contracting relationships that simplify home ownership! I would not think of using anyone else.

We have used Kirk for many years. They are very honest, reliable and reasonable priced. I don’t recommend any complies besides Kirk, that is how highly I think of them. One friend was told by another company that she needed to spend thousands of dollars to fix her a/c. I suggested that she contact Kirk. Kirk charged her a few hundred dollars to fix her a/c.

Today was my first experience with Kirk Air Conditioning Co. The service tech was on-time, friendly and knowledgeable. He provided a clear explanation of the repair(s) needed, completed the work in a timely manner, and it was all done at a fair price.

Today is 9/18/19 and I will write my final review of this company, unless I hear from the owner. In all honesty, I do not even want to give this company a one star. It deserves no stars. Yesterday, we completed the final (we hope) major repair on one of the three systems installed by Kirk Air. The original plenum had to be torn out and redone. We had an air leak that was causing condensation/dripping which would have lead to mold growing in our attic. The repair person said the plenum was not sealed and there were cracks around the joints of the elbows. We have metal duct. It was obvious the issues were being hidden from view. It was an all day job for our new AC company to take care of this final issue. I cannot stress strongly enough that you never use Kirk Air for a new house install. And to date, the owner has never acknowledged our complaint. It cost us over $16,000.00 to re-mediate all the faults found to date. If Steve, the owner, should contact us and offer to refund us this money or offer a settlement, I will update this review.

Do not use this company under any circumstances. Check out all sites for reviews on this company before you hire them to work for you. BUT, most importantly, have this company produce a copy of its current insurance policy before allowing them to work for you whether it is for repairs or new installations. Make sure it covers every service they intend to provide, and let the "buyer beware."

I write this addendum two weeks later as I note the owner posted a response. This company has totally disregarded an investigation by the licensing department in Austin and they have totally ignored all communication from us and our attorney. Do not let the generic response fool you. They have no intention of contacting us to settle this dispute. They are trying to look good under the reviews.

Today is 5/15/19. If Kirk Air continues to refuse to respond to our attorney and if he continues to refuse to respond to the licensing department in Texas, I will in great detail post everything Kirk Air has done wrong.

On Monday, May 13, 2019, during the ongoing repair process, we discovered why Kirk Air was able to stop an AC grate in a downstairs bathroom from dripping. First, he totally stopped the boot up at the grate/vent and then our new AC company discovered the duct itself leading into the bathroom had been totally disconnected from the attic unit itself with more insulation stuff into the duct where it went into the wall so as to disguise that opening. This was unbelievable. We are lucky the pipes in this bathroom are on inside walls, for if we had no AC, we had no heat. But, it is only one of many other horrors discovered once we hired a new company. It will be two years in June since our nightmare started.

I will come back soon and post an update. We still have one more AC system to work through its faults and code violations. All of this has come at great expense to us, not to mention the anguish and resulting anxiety. Once again, this company has NEVER responded to our initial contact letter of complaint; never responded to our attorney's letter; and to the best of our knowledge, has never responded to the licensing department investigator.

Kirk A/C has taken care of my home HVAC for more than 20 years and have always been professional and prompt. They do not try to up-sell you on unnecessary work like some other firms.

No response- at all. I have even asked that they just call and tell me they have no ability or interest to help or continue to provide service. This is after years of using the company and multiple referrals. This has now amounted to a huge waste of my time.
