David, Jeff and their crew did an amazing job on our new AC units. On their initial visit, they came out at 9:30 on the WEEKEND to get our old AC up and running in the heat of the summer. Wonderful and unexpected level of customer service. We later decided, after taking multiple bids and meetings with multiple companies, to have 2 new units installed for our home by Efficient Home Solutions. They went above and beyond, addressing concerns well after our installation occurred. Money well spent, AC crew and Insulation crews were very respectful young men.

I live in the Lakewood Dallas area and own an older home. I have settled for years with an uncomfortable home in the Summer and Winter months because I assumed I had to because of the age of my home. In August I got sick of settling and called Efficient Home Solutions along with a couple other Companies out to see if they could help me with my problem. The other Companies said your units are running fine and when they breakdown I can increase the size if I want but not much more they can do.

Efficient Home Solutions provided a large list of suggestions, recommendations and solutions to my comfort issues, some I could do myself if I wanted and others that they would take care of. We decided to have them:

Add Additional return air vents to our systems
Add better filters to our systems
Upgrade our old Thermostats to digital wifi
Cleans units
Seal up our duct-work
Add attic Insulation
Add attic ventilation
Foam Seal our utility openings and attic access hatch

after all those improvements we can now achieve 72 even in the hottest part of the day, 78 to 80 was best temperature before. They tell me it will save me money on my electric and gas bills as well. All I really cared about was looking forward coming home instead of dreading it. Money well spent, AC crew and Insulation crews were very respectful young men.

I frantically called EHS as I came home to an A/C that blew hot air. My technician, Rocky, quickly diagnosed the problem and informed me I needed a new controller. He gave me a quote and offered to drive to Plano to get the part same-day. As my home warranty would cover the cost and installation of a new controller during the normal work week (this was a weekend-night), I declined.

I was pretty bummed my unit wasn't going to be fixed but as Rocky was re-assembling the unit, he noticed that ants had made themselves at home within the unit. He showed me their nest and explained that ants cause controller damage. He then offered to try and fix the controller until I could get a new one--I gratefully accepted. Not only did he fix the controller, but he also gave me advice on how prevent this from happening in the future.

All in all, I was VERY impressed with the company, but clearly Rocky in particular. I cannot say enough good things about him. I would recommend Efficient Home Solutions overall and Rocky in particular. I'm one happy customer!

Great people. Dennis Moore is one of those geeky technicians who can fix just about anything. They worked on our very old system, fixed it for less than I expected, and didn't push us to buy anything new. We were resigned to putting a big chunk of cash into a new AC for the summer, but thanks to Dennis, now we can put it off for a bit longer, so we can save up for it. Loved the company, and I will recommend them to all my friends.

The Efficient Home Solutions team come out twice -- the tasks were to increase the CFM, and tune-up the A/C unit servicing the Master Bedroom, and to install a Whirly bird type Exhaust fan on the rood. Both times they were courteous, efficient and clean. They put down drop-cloths, and picked up debris generated from the installs. The price was fair and reasonably -- my wife shopped around --. We are very pleased with the service and price, as well as the professional manner they conducted themselves. Thanks again, David and the EHS team!

EHS installed a new split system for the second floor of my home. David explained what I needed and gave me options with explanation of each. Rocky and his crew were super fast and efficient for the installation. They cleaned up afterwards and you would have never even known they were there. This system heats and cools so quickly. You cannot go wrong with EHS. Highly recommend.
