Technician was friendly enough and did put in an effort, but the issue we wanted assessed is still present after the visit and the adjustments he made. I ended up having to pay for both the technician visit and an hour of labor for a fix that did not make any noticeable difference in the problem we’re having. When run individually, the airflow in the downstairs zone continues to be significantly less than for the upstairs zone. When run together, the upstairs airflow continues to drop significantly compared to running only upstairs on its own. I don’t feel my money was well spent with CJ Air Solutions.
EDIT 5/25/23 - Tried to give another chance (this time for HVAC maintenance) but technician didn't show up and no one responded to any of my calls even after the time window they had given.
Great experience every step of the way. Great communication with scheduling and with our technician. Cecil was prompt and professional, arrived early, assessed the problem quickly, and did quality work. The company's price for a service call was the best price out of every other company I had called (e.g. others charged more than 50% more) and the price for our service was reasonable. Cecil also explained why the problem developed and recommended ways to maintain the system to keep it from happening again (this was an A/C repair). I highly recommend this company to anyone in the area who needs HVAC services!
I had both of my home AC units replaced by CJ Air Solutions in April. There were a couple of issues with the new units that took a few subsequent service calls to fix. Each time I reached out to CJ Air they promptly showed up and worked to address the problems, and they took the time to thoroughly check everything. Many places will make you wait, or take several days (and sometimes weeks) to come out for a service call. CJ Air has always been available no matter what time of day, and even on the weekend. I highly recommend CJ Air for their expertise and reasonable prices.

He explained what was going on and after a thorough cleaning of the outside unit radiator the system started working fine. He could have taken advantage of the situation and did not. I will recommend CJ Air to everyone I know. What a blessing on a hot night!
My TRANE HVAC unit stopped working couple weeks ago and ended up calling CJ Air. They were very courteous and available for an appointment the same day. Also service fee was cheaper compared to others. The tech stopped by, found out it was a bad motor, but he didn't have it in stock. Also offered to replace the capacitor just to be safe. An hour later, another tech showed up and replaced the motor and capacitor. But the motor ran for 10 minutes and shut down. The tech stated it could be a faulty motor and came back later with a different temporary motor and replaced the faulty motor. He said he would be back the next day with a new permanent motor. The temporary motor ran for another 15 minutes and shut down again once the tech left. Called them again and a third tech visited in the evening. Told me he would ask the 2nd tech to get a new motor from TRANE itself as replacement. For some reason the motor was getting overheated and shutting down itself. Advised me to keep running the unit for 15 minutes and take a break for 30-40 minutes and repeat until 9PM, so it wont overheat and shuts down again. Followed those steps until 11PM without any luck. Motor keeps getting overheated and shuts down. The next evening, the 2nd tech stopped by with a new TRANE motor and that fixed the problem. But only it took them 5 visits and 3 different motors and a capacitor for the fix. They were very helpful, courteous and friendly but the bill was kind of high (obviously after 5 tech visits I guess). Cost me $860 to replace the motor and capacitor. Capacitor install cost was alone $225 for a $15 item in HD. In addition, the service call fee was added on top as well.(typically that will be included in the work and not an extra charge).
So if you are OK with a friendly, courteous HVAC repair shop who is expensive, CJ Air solutions is your guy. Don't be deceived by the low service fee.

Cecil was able to troubleshoot my AC issues same day as the issue was reported. He let me know the issues of my AC and was very knowledgeable. He had great communication (phone and text), WONDERFUL customer service and great pricing (I did not have a large budget)!
I went into this very stressed and I have never dealt with an issue like this and Cecil made it feel less of a hassle.

We had been struggling with our A/C for a couple of weeks and finally decided to make a call to get it fixed. Cecil showed up and quickly helped locate the problem and walked me through every step he went through in finding the issue. He was professional and helpful and felt more personable than most repair man I've worked with in the past. I know now in the future if my A/C goes wrong I'm calling CJ Air and looking for Cecil because of his quality of service.
Cecil came out to our home the same day and provided us a solution that was several thousands cheaper than our home warranty. He took the time to explain in detail about what he was doing and why. Very courteous and professional. I cannot stress how simple this whole fix was. Will definitely call Cecil back for any and all future repairs!
They were about 1.5 hours late but with Covid and it being 103 degrees out (and my home at 91) I don't consider it an issue. Cecil got right to work. Never took a break the whole time he was here. He also didn't immediately try to upsell me to buy a new unit. My unit ended up having a short and he didn't just splice the last 3 inches that would have made it work, he instead ran a whole new wire. In less than an hour and half everything was in working order again and he even checked the Freon. They are extremely experienced and honest about their work. I'm very satisfied.
