I called my home warranty after a service tech found that it was no longer safe to run. They referred me to another company who put me on their schedule for a week later. I’m not sure what happened but Brent ended up giving me a call the day after I called the home warranty and quickly explained my options. He was professional and courteous. If you have a home warranty and Brent is taking care of it, you’re in good hands. Thanks Brent!

We worked with Brent through our home warranty company. We had a cracked heat exchanger that required the furnace needing replacing. Brent was very prompt at sending in the request and scheduling, everything went smoothly. We had to pay a little bit to change some of the duct work, and he charged the exact same as his original estimate. I would use them again!

Brent and his team have been awesome in their service and quality. If there have ever been any issues/problems with our AC/Furnace (which have been few and far between during the last 10 years), he has responded within 24 hours and fixed the problem. He has been fair and understanding in pricing and I'd highly recommend his service for anyone that has air conditioning or heating needs in their home. Thanks for the great service, Brent!

Brent is the best in the business. His price and quick service is outstanding against the competition. I highly recommend sending him. Tell him I sent you and he will take care of you.

Brent was hired by our home warranty company to provide a second opinion on problems we were having with our furnace. The first technician from (company not mentioned) through combustion analysis diagnosed our furnace with a cracked heat exchanger and condemed the unit. He turned off the gas and power to the unit and said it needed replaced. Brent called me the next day and asked me what was going on. I told him everything the previous technician had done and he said, he doubted we had cracked heat exchanger and sight unseen, told me to turn the unit back on...I didn't turn it back on! He came out, fiddled with a few things and then fired it up. After a few minutes he took a 15 minute reading from one of the vents in the basement with some sort of gas detector. After 15 minutes he checked the unit and said everything was fine, there was no CO present in the vents. He went back into utility room and asked me why I thought it was running fine now...I didn't have an answer for him so he grabs the plug that he had taken out on the right side of the machine and said, here's your problem....you have a blocked fresh air intake and by removing the plug on the other side, I proved that because the unit is working fine now. I asked if that was ok to just remove it and leave it out and he said, oh ya, it's fine. So, he left and I got to thinking about his "fix" for my furnace that what he actually did was modify my system to make it work. So I call the warranty company and tell them that I'm not happy with his "fix" so they send out a 3rd technician the next day. That technician performs the combustion analysis as did the first technician and then after getting the high readings, inserts a micro-camera into the heat exchanger to find that it is indeed cracked and needs replaced. The following day a new furnace was installed. With that, I recommend you look else where for your HVAC needs.

Wonderful trade professionals came out and serviced my account for me. Much like an earlier review they did charge me also!! I guess that is how they make money and stay in business. I had an issue a full year later and they came out and fixed that for free! I am calling today for my spring tune up and inspection. I would not go anywhere else, they are booked because they do great work.

Horizon was contracted via my home warranty. They were supposed to call me to schedule my appointment within 24 hours. I ended up calling them 36 hours later because I still hadn't received a call. The next available appointment they had was 7 days later! Our air conditioner was completely out, so we had to suffer 90+ degrees INSIDE our house while we waited. The technician came out and within 5 minutes stated that the unit needed a new motor and it would be a week before he could get a replacement. He left for 15 minutes and then came back and said there was something else he could try. He ended up replacing the capacitor and was able to get it running again. 45 days later, the capacitor he installed was dead and now I'm having to pay another deductible payment to my home warranty to have another technician come out to fix what should have been done the first time around! Thankfully, a different HVAC company is being used. The new HVAC company said that Horizon should have replaced the motor, and replacing the capacitor was a move to get paid more by the home warranty company and not have to do much "real" work (they are paid a flat rate per completed service call). A new motor would have taken more time to install and the parts would have cost more and as a result he would have gotten less money for the service call. The home warranty company suggested I call Horizon to see if they would come fix their mistake (since it was past the 30-day "recall" period, they could not make him come back.) I called 4 times across 2 days, and every call went straight to voicemail. Horizon HVAC is non-responsive, slow, and takes short-cuts to get something back up and running rather than fixing the underlying issue. 0/10 will NEVER use Horizon HVAC again, even if the home warranty company contracts him to come out. I would rather pay full price for someone that will do it right!

He showed up when he said he would and was very thorough when looking at the furnace. Would definitely use this company again. He is way better then rentmeister who charged me 50$ to drive a street over and who also told me 1 price for a part then almost doubled it when I showed up to get it.

My A/C stopped working yesterday and my home got up to 87 degrees. I contacted Horizon this morning and they were able to make it out to do the repairs same-day! I'm extremely grateful they were able to pencil me in during these busy summer months.

Had to replaced the furnace board which they charge about 3x what you can buy it at from Amazon. On top of that they charge labor. Do yourself a favor and replace the board on your own. It will save you $500.00! Lessons learned. Live and Learn!
