Used this business through our rental company when the AC in our house stopped working. After waiting 3 hours after our scheduled appointment for someone to show up, I called the business and they told me “He skipped your house for some reason.” And assured me that he- the worker assigned to fix our unit- would arrive at our house at 3pm and would notify us when he was on his way. After 4pm with no contact whatsoever, I called again. They told me they reached out to the rental company instead of the point of contact, that he just left his appointment, and should finally be on his way.
To be fair, when he arrived he recognized and fixed the problem quickly.
My issue is with the customer service and disorganized process we had to go through. Absolute disregard for others time, lack of communication, and minimal effort to rectify the scheduling issue that they caused. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone that needs quick service.

I called C3 as one of seven options that I researched to inspect and recharge my upstairs HVAC unit. Talking with Jennifer was a breeze. She was able to give me approximate pricing over the phone and get me scheduled quickly.

My technician, Tyler was extremely knowledgeable and passionate regarding his work. I'm grateful that I was able to tag along during his visit and learn a little about the inner workings of my HVAC units. He educated me regarding proper care and as to what some of the more dangerous warning signs were in case any arose. We found a minor leak in the coolant line and were able to address the issue same day with minimal cost in time and money.

I look forward to working with Jennifer and Tyler again. Thank you guys.

My AC was not blowing and I just bought my first house. So I was not looking forward to the bill.
I had to call.
Tyler came through and did SUCH a thorough job. And my bill was WAY lower than expected. Within an hour, my AC is doing great!

Eastbound Hauling

Called at 2pm the Friday before Christmas explaining that my heat was working, but my heat pump was making a knocking noise when on, and not making the noise when on emergency heat. They came out within an hour, replaced a capacitor, recharged the freon and added dye to determine if there was a leak (didn’t see any today) but advised if there is a leak they will come back out to recheck free of charge. All three representatives were amazing- from my initial phone call to the two guys that came out! Knowledge, friendly, on time and even loved on my dog ♥️💚 highly recommend and will definitely use them for any future needs! Thanks guys and Merry Christmas!

We are having our kitchen remodeled. My shout out is to the awesome workers that removed and replaced registers & ductwork. Jacob and John were sooo efficient and professional. Loved their energy, enthusiasm and they actually super cleaned up after completion. The boss, Brian should know they are keepers!

Referred through 360 Plumbing for a holiday work order. 30 minute turn around and a very reasonable cost. Tyler came out and checked everything, temp fix on the spot, but I needed a replacement thermostat to avoid it happening again. Offered to bring equipment they had in stock or let me purchase my own and gave clear guidance on what would work with my system. Gary came the next day, installed the new unit and gave expert tips for maintaining the system. C3 is now my go-to if I have heating or cooling issues as long as I live in this area. Tyler, Jen and Gary are a precise team of professionals, I can only assume the rest of the company is just as good.

Today is Thanksgiving and I am thankful for C3! Our house was a little cool yesterday and I had a gut instinct that something was off. I think our backup heat (oil furnace) wasn't coming on when it was supposed to. They came out the same day (day before Thanksgiving) and fixed it. However, last night (night before Thanksgiving) it was HOT in our house (80F instead of 70F). the furnace didn't turn off for some reason. So we called again. They suggested we turn off the thermostat. At first that didn't appear to work. I could still hear the furnace boiler burning. But at some point in the night the furnace went off and the base board heaters cooled off. However, C3 still came out this morning (Thanksgiving day) to make sure everything was working well. They even figured out the problem was in the thermostat program. So they programed our thermostat differentials. Now AUX HEAT will come on within 2 degrees of desired temp but the furnace will only come on if it drops 4 degrees (or something like that). Anyway they came out twice (once on a holiday) and fixed it for no charge since it is within the first year of a new install.

I also used this company at our former address for issues. They were always courteous, on time, and fixed any issues at a reasonable price. They even would let us know if there wasn't a problem!

My mom has used C3 at her rental property. They were able to diagnose that her problem was actually a Dominion electrical issue. The electricity supplied to the house had an issue that Dominion needed to fix.

Mom will be using C3 to install a new HVAC at her current residence where there is currently no unit.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are good people. Honest, courteous and reasonably priced.

We have used C3 for a few different needs in the past few years with the original recommendation from my parents. It started with smaller jobs and we were very happy when they did not try to sell us anything unnecessary. Last year they came out for a repair at a house we just bought and told us the system probably wouldn’t last more than another year or two because of the age, but again no pressure to up sell when we said it wasn’t in the budget at the time. Well, their prediction was right and it came time to replace our system this year. We got several quotes and they were the best price overall. They came out within a week and had the new system installed in a day.
We are very happy with the customer service and the quality of the work. Highly recommend this company to anyone!

Tyler is detailed, proficient, and honest. When our AC went out on a 95 degree day, he and his coworker made time to stop by within a few hours. We'll always go to them for service.

C3 Heating and Air replaced two HVAC systems in my two story 2,000 sqft home. They were the most expensive bid of the 4 I received, but I went with them anyway because they were recommended by a friend. The install took 4 days instead of their estimated 2, there were numerous breakdowns in communication between what I was quoted and what the crew was told to do, and the cleanup and repairs for damage to my house were sloppy. My overall opinion of them is that they rush their jobs and either don't care or don't have time for customer service. Probably the most frustrating part of this experience was the poor communication, on multiple occasions I waited up to two weeks to hear back from them.

As an example of how they deal with customer service issues, the crew managed to step through the ceiling of one of the bedrooms leaving a large hole. To their credit, they had it repaired at no cost within a week (although they refused to repaint it). However, they neglected to fix a large crack that formed at the seam of the same drywall sheet. The crack continued to grow over the following weeks but C3 Heating and Air refused to fix it, denying it was their responsibility. They ignored frustrated emails from me for weeks before finally agreeing to send another contractor out. Unsurprisingly, the repair was rushed and the crack reformed the same day. At this point, I'm just hoping the HVAC install itself was done properly because I have no confidence in their customer support or timeliness of repairs.
