I have used Brauer's twice in the last 6 months. Once for replacing a water heater and then another time for a plumbing issue. Someone came out for service the following day after each call. They are always very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and their work is exceptional. I highly recommend this locally owned company!

One of the best if not the best HVAC and plumbing company on the peninsula, multiple years of experience between all the people that work here ensure that you're going to get a good quality job the first time, forgive me I am a bit biased because they are a local Hometown company so when you have an emergency or you need something done right give them a call

Great company with even greater technicians that helped my family get heat restored just in time for the cold Virgina winter. I would definitely recommend them to anyone especially if you like supporting smaller businesses who care for their clients

I had a technician, Norman, out to diagnose an oil furnace for possible cleaning and/or repair on 05/25. He checked the unit with a bore cam and found a large hole affecting the integrity of the furnace. He recommended we replace with a new electric water heater and I said I would like to get that process started as it was unsafe to operate the old oil burning furnace. Norman gathered info and took pictures and said he would get it to the owner for an estimate. He was awesome and that's why I didn't give a zero star review.

It's currently 06/3 and apparently Brauer doesn't want my business because I still have no estimate. I guess the owner is the only one who can do estimates which is an insane way to do business. I've called twice since I've been waiting and told both times by the ladies on the phone that they'd pass my info to the owner who does all the estimates and he would get it too me...did i mention i have no hot water?

I have no faith in moving forward with Brauer at this point. It is difficult to imagine a company that doesn't want new business or have the courtesy to communicate that they are too busy or disorganized to take on new clients. - Dan N (Hampton)

These guys are terrific people who have been to our house several times. The owner Craig has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is good and has come to our home himself and replaced our thermostat. He has a great attitude and personality. We really appreciate all the hard work and extra care we feel this company gives. We also want to say Dave is such a nice guy and always friendly and explains everything so well. We would definitely recommend this business to anyone that wants honesty and great performance from a well respected business.

The technician was great came out on 6/8 and said my unit should be replaced. Ever since they STILL (6/17) have not turned in a report to the warranty company! They are dodging calls from myself and the warranty company. When they do answer the phone it's another excuse as to why they haven't turned the report in. I am going on 3 weeks with no AC. I have 3 kids 2 are sick and no one answers the phone. Please avoid this company, after reading the other reviews I am not the first person and I won't be the last! RESPONSE: NO YOU HAVE NOT TURNED IN YOUR REPORT. How convenient that you also don't work weekends!!!!!

The Good: Mike Cook, our technician, was outstanding! He took the time to explain what our issues were as well as what he was doing to remedy them. He was committed to getting the job done right.

The Bad and the Ugly: If you like being spoken to like a human being, hope that Michelle doesn't answer the phone when you call. She is unbelievably and unnecessarily terse and just rude. After dealing with her twice, I just had my wife call figuring it was a clash in personalities. My wife shares my assessment. I will never understand why folks are abhorrent simply because they can be.

The customer service representative, Michelle B was extremely rude over the phone. She has zero regards for the customer. Instead of listening to my concerns and trying to work with me as a customer she just talked over me. After all of that she just hung up on me. All I needed was to setup an appointment to complete the installation of my H-Vac Unit.

As of today still waiting for my appointment to complete my installation by relocating one of the vacuums vents.

As a Veteran my self, I feel very disappointed for this treatment from a Veteran own company. If you are in the market for a new Hvac or any kind of services related, I highly recommend you to find a different company.

I am all about customer service. From the initial dispatch through the technician making the repair, I received great customer service! The gentleman that came to my home explained to me the issue and even took the time to break down terms and allow me the comprehension time to understand. I’m a first time homeowner who purchased an older home so we’ve had a lot of contractors come to our home. This is the FIRST contractor that came up and shook my hand - then came back inside and explained what’s going on and what was done. I felt like I learned something after he left! Even the woman who answers the phone was nice and attentive to me. Great customer service! Fast repair! Knowledgeable techs! Happy customer! Highly recommended.
