Aire Serv of West Allis

I was able to get a next day appointment and in less than 3 hours the a/c was fixed and pumping cold air. The inspection was thorough and very fairly priced.

Jonabel did a great job! He was very knowledgable. He had another person with him. I'm sorry...I didn't catch his name, but he was just as knowledgable. They both answered my questions fully. I asked about other services that Aire Serv offers, and they provided that information as well Thank you so much!

Prompt but poor workmanship

Although Aire Serv of West Allis was very prompt, I can not recommend them because of the poor workmanship. This company was selected by my AHS Warranty to repair (and eventually replace my furnace). The owner, Angel, was very helpful in working with my warranty company to find a replacement unit and they were out within a day to install.

Even though they were very prompt there were multiple issues of poor workmanship that followed:
1. After about 8 hours the furnace cut off and wouldn't run.
* They returned to repair and said a PVC pipe for exhaust had been incorrectly angled / installed and caused the shutoff.
2. During this visit I made them aware that the duct work they built around the new furnace was leaking around all edges.
* They used silicone (sloppily) to repair it and told me it was fixed before they left.
3. Once they left I went down to inspect and found PVC dust everywhere and noticed they didn't seal the one side of the duct, so air was still dumping out of it.
* This required another visit to patch up the duct to create a proper seal.

This was 3 visits within 24 hours - if handled properly it could have been one.

They were great at communicating from the home office and worked to remedy issues quickly, but because of the poor workmanship I would NOT recommend using them for your HVAC needs.

A lot of dishonesty. Between AHS Insurance and Aire Serv/ Service pro or AGR LLC.(Many Names) After 10 months of back and fourth conversation between the two and get Fox 6 Investigators involved I finally got the furnace replaced. The work wasn't as I expect the quality to be and was charge for material that wasn't used. I requested for them to comeback and properly install and seal the exhaust and stabilize the unit. The Manager came out with the techs and supervised repairs. After talking with the manager about billing and materials plus labor, I was told they do not have anything to do with cost and labor the insurance tells them how much to charge. I don't how you can give someone a complete receipt with Material, Labor and Fabrication before the work or install has been complete.

Andrew G. was very knowledgeable, attentive and detailed oriented. He helped resolve our issues with our furnace. I will definitely recommend to my friends or family in search of furnace repairs!

Aire Serv team is professional and knowledgeable. I've bought a new house last year and the HVAC system failed on us. Aire Serv was able to come in and replace the whole unit quickly. Since then I've had no problems and enjoyed a great mainenance contract with them. Five stars and more. I would fully recommend this company.

Aire Serve of West Allis came out to do a preseason HVAC tuneup through American Home Shield. They were very responsive and on time. The tech was very professional and explained to me what was done and what he recommended as follow ups. I would use them again for a preseason checkup or other HVAC needs.

Edit: so unfortunately this business has gone down. 2 years ago, I left a 5 star review. Today, 2023, it is a 1 star. Within the 2 years, they moved the maintenance plan to a monthly charge but they never set up the maintenance. It seems they have no systems in place to track annual to heater or A/C. Last call I received from them was in Sept 2022, but no appt set. So they missed servicing the heater, now we are in summer and nothing regarding A/C. When you call to cancel bc no service provided in a year+, no return calls. Nothing to set up the missed services or to apologize. Then you are charged again the next month. The receptionist always says the same thing “I’ll leave a note for the manager to review.” Obviously, it wasn’t cancelled bc i was charged yet again.

Review from 2021: I have used Air Serv for a number of years for heating and AC maintenance and repairs. The staff always calls ahead of time to set up an appointment convenient for you and they send multiple reminders - day before and when tech is on the way etc. Technicians are always professional and friendly and do a great job.

Avoid Aire Serv of West Allis at all costs. This is a poor quality, unprofessional, and unresponsive franchise that should not be trusted. They incorrectly installed an entire HVAC system without permits causing recurring property damage less than 3-years after installation. Multiple third-party repair quotes ranged from $6,000 to $8,000 to *correctly* install an HVAC system not including a company that refused to touch the project due to the severity of the installation. What's even more frustrating is project manage Gabe, who made multiple trips to the property acknowledge the install was incorrect and the original installer was fired. When I questioned if permits were pulled (knowing they were not), I was lied to by Junior who promised permits were pulled, but the City confirmed no permits were ever pulled. When I asked for copies of the contract and permits, I never received a response from Junior or the Owner.
