My Rinnai On-demand water heater was leaking from the inside (onto electrical components). I called Circle and Central Plumbing and no one could get to me for weeks! A friend recommended Mountain Mechanical and they were here right away. They gave a few options, and after patiently answering all my questions, they were able to get me a new unit and hot water within 2 days! Mike is amazing! He worked late each day and pushed the inspections through so I could take a hot shower. They relocated my hot water heater and gave me a Navien (better than Rinnai). All that work (new plumbing, gas line tie in, drainage and venting) in just 2 days! I couldn't be happier with their service. They were also very respectful of COVID-19 precautions and masked the entire time.

Be sure to get a second opinion if you call these guys. Had them come out to take a look at my boiler. The tech stayed maybe 15 minutes and recommended full replacement ($6k+). I called another company for a second opinion, boiler is working great after a $300 valve replacement. Either their scam artists or have techs that don’t know what their doing.

I was able to schedule an appointment the day prior, although it can be frustrating when you can only schedule a 4 hour block. I do understand the reasoning and it seems to be and industry standard.
To my luck, I was called 30 minutes prior to the tech showing up and I was the first on his schedule. Gene was very polite, thorough, and very knowledgeable in plumbing and heating. His ability to utilize the apprentice he had brought with him, made doing this work very quick.
The cost was as expected and fair. I will be calling Mt. Mechanical for my next plumbing and heating repairs. Although I can only speak for the one tech, I would highly recommend these guys.
Thank you

We called Mountain Mechanical to do the annual service on our boiler. Quentin the tech arrived within minutes of our scheduled appointment and completed the most thorough inspection of our system. He found leaks and corrected them and all within the fixed price they advertise.
Quentin was pleasant knowledgeable and respectful of our property.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Thank you Mountain Mechanical and Quentin

Super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and totally trust this Mountain Mechanical to do the right job and make it as painless as possible. Keegan was on the way to the house for an emergency visit and walked me through some possible fixes just to save us some money. They worked until the next day when he had to come over and fix pipes that were frozen and broken. -20 on the east side of town, and we were able to stay in the house and have it fixed at very fair prices considering what had to be done and the conditions they had to be done in. Thanks guys!!

Beware of service techs trying to scare you into replacing things unnecessarily. I called because the pilot light had gone out on my boiler. The tech tried to tell me I needed to replace my whole boiler immediately, that the insulation inside was coming down and could spontaneously combust at any time. I had him replace just the coupler/fix pilot light issue, then had three other reputable plumbing companies out for additional opinions. All three other plumbers told me not to worry, that it appeared the insulation had been tugged at (by Mt. Mechanical), and that they'd commonly heard of Mt. Mechanical trying to scare homeowners like myself. With three other plumbers all checking off my boiler as safe, even for their own daughter to live there, I will never again trust Mr. Mechanical.

I woke up to a loud bang and no hot water on the first -11F day of the year. I called my usual handyman, but after getting no response my boss recommended Mountain Mechanical. I was in and out of my house all morning but they had a tech out in under an hour, figured out what went wrong and were able to explain their process from assessment, to repair, and what I can do to avoid having to call them in the future. Definitely added to my contact list for future repair.

Have been using them for 10 years, always prompt, always organized, always professional. Have done furnace servicing, installation of new hardware and installation of upgraded equipment. I find their prices have been competitive and keep using them because of their reliability and knowledge of how to explain problem situations in a way that is understandable to a home owner and with a range of options.

Curtis was honest about the repairs I needed done and gave me a fair quote. He and John were professional and helpful. He eliminated some systemic problems and my boiler and indirect hot water heater are working well.

Last November we had a tech from Mountain Mechanical check on our furnace, looked like the mother board was going bad, so it was replaced for around $600. A few month later again, the mother board was going bad, thinking some switch was broke, when really it was the new mother board. We either get a new one, or a new furnace.
We spent a long time saving up, until a family member recommend we get Circle Plumbing & Heating check the furnace. Turns out the furnace really needed a wiring switch, and some adjustments since it wasn't installed properly. That costed us about $100 and the furnace has been working well since then.
We won't work with Mountain Mechanical, if you do, try Circle Plumbing & Heating first, or for a second opinion.
