Cooper Climate Control

After weeks of shopping around for AC companies, we found the most reasonable for our budget and also what was on offer. We were very pleased with the service and professionalism from Kendall and his team. They worked well alongside us and overall we were satisfied with the team.

Pros:
Offered a return as part of their service, more affordable total cost compared to other companies and worked in a tidy and fast fashion. I was also impressed with how thorough Kendall was when it came to SRP rebate paperwork and also the after service of the installation, ensuring we had no problems.

Cons:
Found the receptionist a little abrupt over the phone (but she was nicer later on), they didn’t confirm with us where the return needed to go which caused us to patch up the dry wall to which we then had to fork out $400 of our own to repaint the ceiling.

Overall I highly recommend the company!

Kendall came to evaluate our old A/C system and was thorough. He laid out all our options clearly and had quotes for each option. He explained in easy to understand terms each option, the benefits and limitations of each option, and answered our questions in detail. His crew was on time and installed both units within two days. Kendall’s attention to details was evident when he prepared the paperwork for the rebates for installing the new unit and walked through the steps to file the rebate and register for the warranty. They were courteous, careful, and cleaned up afterward, which made my wife extremely happy! Kendall was responsive when a rattle showed up in one day after installation. In less than 30 minutes his crew found and resolved the rattle caused by an extra o-ring that was loose on the tubing. Cooper Climate Control was professional, courteous, and a joy to do business with. I highly recommend them and would hire them again to install a new A/C system. Their customer service was outstanding in what seems to be a current culture where customer service is forgotten.

Kendall and his team were fantastic throughout the entire process. Kendall came and checked out our original 24yr old system and ducting in the attic. He then explained what can be improved in detail. That weekend he emailed several option quotes. He took the time to answer all of our questions in depth without any bias. He was informative and educational and we felt like we made an informed decision after consulting with him. Kendall's team of installers were top notch, the lead Jose is great. At the end of the job all old equipment was hauled away and our house was left clean and extra cool! We are very pleased with the choices we made hiring Cooper Climate Control and the unit we had installed, along with all the improved ducting work, which was all completed in 1 day. We will use Cooper Climate Control for yearly maintenance moving forward, reasonably priced.

Kendall provided us multiple options with full transparency to costs and helped us chose the best option for us. Him and his team were able to finish everything in 3 days, with exceptional service and constant communication about the progress. We have been using Cooper for 5 years now and have been totally satisfied. Prices are totally acceptable and the techs are dressed professional. Our tech has been Kendall and has always been friendly and has done a good job. Today Joseph came to fix our thermostat and it turned out to be more than that. Once again the professionalism and knowledge he had to fix our problem was right on target. I highly recommend Cooper as this company is honest, dependable and kind.

We called Cooper Climate Control last year when one of our AC units failed. Kendall was quick to respond, highly professional, and very easy to work with. Cooper Climate Control also backs up their products/service with a 10 year labor warranty, which as far as I have seen, is pretty much unheard of. We were so happy with the experience, we decided to purchase service contracts for both of our units.

Fast forward to this year, and just as Kendall said, Cooper Climate Control called us back in March to setup our service appointment. Kendall showed up right in the window they set, and did great job. We just had our furnace and AC replaced and couldn't be happier with Cooper Climate Control. Kendall gave us a thorough and fairly priced quote; he was very knowledgeable when it came to making sure the system would operate as efficiently as possible. The install crew did a clean and neat job and got done faster than we expected.

Just had Cooper Climate Control install a complete two unit replacement in our house with the Trane XV18. We had 4 different companies give us bids and Kendall came out for Cooper to meet with us, after a SRP recommendation. He was very friendly, knowledgable, professional and respectful of our time. He provided a very competitive bid and we went with them. The installers were efficient, polite and professional and did a great job. Kendall then followed up to ensure the install was done right, explained everything about the systems, warranty paperwork and SRP rebate paperwork. This company was great, highly recommend them.

Overall, I'm glad we hired Cooper to replace our AC. We have a 4T package unit on the roof. They also installed an extra return, a supply vent, and put some extra insulation in the attic. They did run a pressure test on the ducting, which should be automatic for every HVAC company, but it's not. Kendall was punctual, thorough, and good at keeping me informed about my options. He also took time to explain the rebates and warranty. He found a big problem with my ducting they were able to fix without "nickel and dime-ing" me. 5 stars for Kendall. So far the heat works, we haven't needed the AC yet. The insulation guys spilled material on the rocks in my yard and didn't clean up. I didn't notice right away, as it's all similar in color. My guess is they would have come back to clean if I had made a stink about it. No complaints other than that. The 5 star test for me is how quickly a company responds to a problem when something goes sideways. So far so good, I will update my review in the future to reflect the service. Free advice, consider having your AC tuned or replaced in the cooler months... prices are a little better and schedules are more flexible. More importantly, it allows the technicians to work under less stress. In the summer, they have to get up super early and race the sun before the heat gets dangerous. These guys are good, but everyone works more effectively when they are reasonably well-rested, comfortable, and without a looming threat to their physical safety.
