Penguin Air, Plumbing & Electrical

Our AC went out on a Saturday night. Our usually company couldn’t come out until Monday so I called around and found Penguin Air. Technician Elmer Calderon came out after 10pm, spent less than 10 minutes total at my residence and told me I needed a new fan motor and quoted me over $1,900 for the fix. I declined and was charge $120 for a visit where they didn’t even find the correct problem. My usual company came out Monday had me up and running in less than 20 minutes for $156. It wasn’t the motor but a simple capacitor replacement. Stay far away from this company they are just out to get your money.

I only have good things to say about Penguin Air. they replaced my water heater & water softener system last year and did a great job. this year when my HVAC failed, Owen did a fantastic job of troubleshooting the issue before coming to the conclusion that it needed full replacement. Owen answered all of questions and put me at ease. got on the schedule 2 days later for install. Owen came back a week later to inspect the installers job thoroughly. i was considering going with a different company due to the bad yelp reviews but i have only had good experience. thank you for your service, Owen! you rock

Penguin Air was such an amazing company to work with. One of our very old AC units went out and they were able to come out same day to look at it. As the temps were rising here in AZ, Nathan White showed with with the most professional and courteous workmanship. He was able to quick diagnose the problem and offer many solutions. The solution we ended up going with was replacing our entire AC system Nathan then spent time redesigning our entire system and walking us through the whole process. From removal, to installation, and cost for the project, Nathan was there with answers every step of the way. They were able to get us scheduled for a full install 2 days after the service call. With this time of year being some of the busiest times for HVAC, this was a big project and the fact that they were able to expedite a full install so quickly was very impressive. I received emails and phone calls and a very thorough breakdown of cost and new parts that would be installed. When the installers showed up, they were just as professional and courteous. They sent texts for their arrival, as well as all the equipment/tools were delivered in time for them to get everything done in a matter of hours. Chantry Robinson, Jesus Lopez, and Ryan Bazinet knocked this massive removal and install done very well and I couldn't have been more impressed with how non-stop their work ethics were. They were able to answer all of my questions and show me exactly what they were doing during the process too. Nathan even came over during the install and the day after to ensure everything was up to my standard and that it was working properly. If you're looking for a company to take care of your HVAC needs, Penguin Air and these gentlemen are the best I have ever encountered.

Great experience, easy booking/scheduling great communication as far as when technician was on his way and how far out. Alex Bussing was super personable, informative and extremely efficient in his repair of my outlet. Would highly recommend them and Alex specifically for any electrical needs.

Joey Miller is very professional and punctual. I would recommend asking for him I had a costly repair and they suggested a new unit that would be more efficient. My unit was 17 years old and was consuming more electricity because it took longer to cool. My new system will keep my energy costs down . I will not have to worry about repairs or anything for 10 years.

Nathan W came out today to do an A/C tune-up. He called before arriving (just as I was told he would). He was super friendly, professional and very thorough when explaining everything happening with our two units. I highly recommend Penguin Air, Plumbing & Electrical and their tech Nathan.

Nathan came to my home on time, behaved completely professional and friendly. I felt I could trust him. He made evaluations of my old system and gave recommendations without trying to pressure me into buying at that moment.
