Do not use this Company, the workers are great, management is horrible. We have only had our house for a year and the A/c unit went out. After a year the warranty expires but they don’t tell you that. The manager swore at me, blamed me, then finally after a week fixed the problem, because I said I was going to file a complaint with the register of contractors. It was not an easy process but do t use Chase Roberts, if you can avoid it.
Reported a dangerous and aggressive driver (captured on dashcam). Someone reached out to me to take a report until he realized the incident happened in Tucson. He said he was in Phoenix and that someone would call me from the Tucson office. No one ever did, and my repeated attempts to get a hold of someone went unanswered.
I was having issues with my AC. It appeared that the ducts in my house were not all equally distributing air. Consequently, my home was cooling unevenly. I called Chas Roberts. Supervisor John at the Tucson office spoke with me and offered to come personally to check it out himself. He promptly came and evaluated the situation. We set up another appointment to remedy the ducts. Turns out I needed to have them reroute certain ducts and all together even out the distribution of the air flow. Soon thereafter, two technicians (Isaac and Roderic), along with John, came to fix things. Isaac is very knowledgeable in the field of airflow. He has a state-of-the-art machine that is able to measure both the amount of air blowing through the duct, as well as the temperature. This makes evaluating each airduct much more precise, as opposed to the old point the thermometer at the duct method. I certainly had never seen a machine like that before. Isaac was able to get the rooms in my house within 2 degrees of each other. Prior to this, my rooms were about 10 degrees off. Isaac was very thorough and knowledgeable in his craft. Both technicians also cleaned my unit and advised me of future maintenance suggestions. They did all of this swiftly and efficiently. John keeps his employees up to date with the latest technology. I was very impressed by these three gentlemen. If I run into issues, or need maintenance on my machine, I will not hesitate to call Chas Roberts again. Thank you three for coming out and pulling off this big job so professionally.
Bought a new build back in December, tried to turn the AC on about 2 weeks ago now that it's getting warmer out. Turns out, our unit was never plugged into any power source and was just sitting outside. Technician told us he needed to order a part and would give us a call back to schedule a time once it came in. We keep calling asking for an ETA and they aren't able to give us one and we just get told that the part is still pending. We've been sitting with no AC for 2 weeks now and our house gets up to 82 degrees at night. This is just ridiculous.
The technician who serviced my unit was helpful with knowledge. Patience walk me through my thermostat how to operate it. My breaker in my new house kept tripping . He helped with informing the next steps. Now with his help, My unit is working great! thank you. For the GREAT customer service.
Technician, Anthony, was excellent. We got fast and speedy thermostat repair when the touch screen on our thermostat went out. He was able to replace our thermostat with the same one, same day, and the same visit.
Francisco is excellent! He kept me informed and up-to-date during the whole process. He’s very friendly and has a great approach and attitude to his job! Anthony did a great job! He was very professional, very respectful, as well as being respectful of my property!
Awful and DR Horton could not care less. Bought a house in Saguaro Bloom, Marana and not one neighbor happy with Chas Roberts a/c. The quality is terrible as they do low bid, low quality work. I am literally changing main two filters every two weeks and loud noise when turns on. Took photos of the inside off ducts as loose plaster like hanging from ducts and found in filters, very dirty. Had them come out and supposed to arrive 12-4. Guy finally shows up at 3:55. Refused to provide a business card or name as works for Chas Roberts and contract/warranty is with DR Horton he said. Nor any paperwork of any kind provided. He goes up in attic and after 15 minutes silence. Do not hear anything must be sleeping as I yelled up twice and no response. Finally at 5:20 comes down shows some photos he took that show nothing to me and do not address issues. Tell him that and he turns and goes out to truck. Then while I was in restroom he had returned and pulled my thermostat off and was changing. I asked why since they were there to clean ducts, loud noise when turns on and correct issues not having anything to do with thermostat. Never had one issue with thermostat! He muttered something then changed back to old thermostat picked up items said nothing else and left. He left shortly before 6. Went to see if they put attic access cover back and Chas Roberts had damaged it somehow. Time for another warranty request I suppose. He never even looked at filters or ducts from hallway or bedroom nor helped in anyway. No response on why changing thermostat, damaged attic access cover, no card, paperwork nothing. Complete waste of my day and just going to have to get then out again or pay out of own pocket for someone else. Very upset with Chas Roberts and for DR Horton using them on homes they build. Avoid these people if possible!
We bought a new build i Tucson and have had a number of techs out for various reasons. All of the techs have been extremely professional, arrived on time and knew what they were doing. Hats off to Chas Roberts for finding and hiring such professional young men.
Chas Roberts had installed our heating system over the summer, and when we went to use the heater for our NexGen apartment for the very first time, the heat wouldn't go on. They came out immediately and took care of the issue that was due to some minor install issue. Now we have heat in our NexGen!
