My boyfriend and I met Aaron at the Pamona fair and instantly felt comfortable and felt he was knowledgeable and his company may be a good fit to replace my boyfriends unit. I received a call with in a couple of days and set up an appointment for Saturday May 20th between 10 and 2. I was told that they would probably be there earlier. I received my confirmation by email and received a text telling me they would be there by 10 and a picture and name of the technician. So my parents I drove to my boyfriends house which is 45 min away and waited. Around 12 I called got an answer service. So I decided to text the number that texted me the name of the technician asked what time they would be there and nothing. So by 2 my parents I finally gave up waiting and wasting a whole day only to have drive home in over an hour of traffic . I never received a call saying no one was coming, no response at all. Emailed them yesterday and still no response. I am sad based on all the positive reviews it seems like it may be a good company. But if someone can't even show up for an initial consultation I wouldn't trust them to show up, be honest and do a good job.

Contracting Metz Air has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. They are quick to schedule you a technician to check you ac unit and troubleshoot any issues you are having.

Jay and Brittney were great!

I can't tell you enough about how pleased I am with this company. I've already gushed over how great Nathan has been on a previous visit...then enter Murray and John to complete the repairs that Nathan determined were needed when he inspected our system. I live in a less than 3-year old community where almost every home has needed repairs on their new HVAC systems. Metz was not the original installer, but they have come to the rescue for many of the homes. I can't recommend them enough! Nathan, Murray and John, thank you so very much for your service on a very rainy day, for repairing damage caused by the original HVAC company, and for leaving our home as clean as when you arrived. You guys rock!

Metz installed an entire new HVAC system a year ago and followed up with a yearly system maintenance. The work was done in an expedient manner. I am so happy I chose Metz.

I had a bad experience with Metz air control my AC unit just needed one small part replaced. But they wanted me to replace my entire unit for 15k, I called another local AC guy he charged me 100 dollars for the fix issue. Please Metz air work with the customers, it’s not all about full replacements all the time.

Installers Murray and Hayden were awesome! They were extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Metz.

Did extensive cleaning on my furnace and AC unit. Danny Juarez was the technician and he did a great job. Very thorough. He took pictures before and after so I could see what was done as my unit is on the roof. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I will ask for him again next year when I have my annual system check. I have used this company over 30 years. A great company!

Jay was great! He gave us a quote on replacing our ductwork. He was very friendly and thorough with his work.

Everything about the free quote, scheduling and install went relatively smoothly. However, there was a hiccup with the install and a little trouble trying to coordinate with them to fix their installation after part of it had failed.

After speaking with one of the owners concerning the issue they came out the following week to fix the problem. Second time around the techs came out, were respectful (they were the first time too), and did a professional job. The original problem I was concerned about is taken care of and the install looks great. Nice and clean. The owner gave me his personal number and asked that I contact him if I have any issues going into the future. He also thanked me for my original feedback and got me taken care of. It was nice that he was easy to talk to get the repair fixed. Stuff like this can be awkward but they made it pretty painless which was good for my introverted style.

After talking to the owner and everything else I got the feeling that this Metz location has a "mom and pop" style and feel about them despite their corporate name. I think that it was a combination of a busy season and COVID-19 that created the isolated incident.

Despite the hiccup I am happy with their final work. Thanks!

Note: Photos are included from the first install and the second. Second is much better!

----------------Old Review----------------
A previous contractor did a hack job creating a transition from the AC into the attic. The AC blew apart the transition made of plenum/foam boards that funneled the air into the attic due to the massive airflow. This was the main problem we wanted Metz to handle in the first place. After they came out for the estimate we agreed that it would be easier for the techs to create a good transition if we got the duct work done also which was an additional $2-3k. I know nothing about HVAC so I trusted them to know what "good" was and to implement that solution. They came and did their work and were professional but when there were done I was surprised to find that they repeated the exact mistake the original contractor did. They installed the same foam boards but only with more tape and sealant (see photos). They came out on a Friday and the boards, tape and seal they put in didn't even last the weekend.

Fine, no problem. I paid for this to be done right so I'll give them a call and let them know. One of the owners came out, he was also professional, and said they were "obsessed about their work" which was nice to hear. Things happen sometimes so no problem. He took a look and said that the transition should have been done in metal due to the size of the AC and then took measurements to have a metal transition made. He said he would talk to the supervising tech that came out for the original estimate and they would be in touch.

I hadn't gotten a call back yet, and a more than reasonable amount of time had past, so I called the main office to see what was up. They said they'd have the owner or someone call me back. I got a call back the next day (today) from the super who did the estimate and he repeated some of what the owner had told me two weeks earlier but they clearly were not in sync. He then tried to tell me it would cost me an additional $600 to do the metal transition which was very similar in price to do the original work for this part of the HVAC service. I didn't appreciate that since the owner said that they would take care of it and do it right.
