I called after reading some of the reviews of Degree HVAC and the history of the company. I needed help with determining the condition of water heater and other issues of our house in SF. I called and was immediately emailed an appointment date and it worked out. Then, Omar showed up and was professional, personable, answered my questions and was so pleasant. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and specific about the condition of the water heater, furnace, and whether or not we should have the ducts cleared. The majority of my decision was based on the website and ratings, review and A plus rating from the BBB. I rarely write these reviews and knew very quickly that this was a review I needed to post. Thank you Degree HVAC.
I called Degree on a Wednesday and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday (the earliest possibility, since it is a busy heating repair time of year). I got a call a few minutes later that an immediate slot had opened up due to a canceled appointment in a nearby location. Luckily, I was able to leave work and go home to meet the repair person 20 minutes later. Mano (the repair person) was already waiting for me. Mano was professional, efficient and friendly. It only took him 40 minutes to diagnose my furnace problem, crawl under my house and replace the ignitor. I was relieved that I didn't have to go without heat for the upcoming weekend and very satisfied with the work and prompt repair. The total repair bill was also reasonable. I'm a happy (and warm) camper.
Mano knows his work very well. He fixed everything while giving explanation that helps me understand more about HVAC in general. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns and gave recommendations for smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. I can't be happier knowing that my home is in good hands. I'm glad I chose Degree HVAC because of good reviews. I'll definitely recommend it to other people!
We were pleased with our HVAC upgrade from Degree HVAC. They gave us more complete advice than the other company that bid on the job, which helped us choose the right options for improving filtration for virus and smoke particles.
I was able to get a "standby" appointment for the day after I called. Mano, the technician arrived early and had mask, gloves, and booties for his shoes. He was friendly, efficient, and explained everything. I do not do well in heat, so having it taken care of so soon after breaking down, was wonderful!
Mano, the Degree technician was great. I had a 10-12 appointment, there was a cancellation and he was able to come by early which preserves my day. Degree HVAC services are expensive but I am pleased with the service and I would not hesitate to call them again.
Repair people were excellent: friendly, communicative, easily sharing details on repair! I also appreciated how hard the staff worked to change our appointment to allow for a medical appointment! Would definitely use Degree again!
The customer service I received was excellent from your technician . He was warm, polite and clearly skilled . My old heater gave us very bad news but he handled all the details of the potential for carbon monoxide poisoning incredibly well .
My question is how the billing is done and it is something they should be clear on the phone about because it was expensive.
Your technician could not have been more professional .
