Ed B came to service my a/c unit. I was surprised to see him in a Clark & Rush truck since I've Garrick in the past. He explained Garrick merged with C&R. Ed was great. He showed me how to properly wash my outside unit and to keep my filters clean and how to get an oversized filter to fit. He checked my fan operation and wiring which I had issues with. And before adding refrigerant Ed discovered one of the sctew on caps placed on my unit had no O ring which could have been responsible for a slow leak I've had for quite a while. Ed was very thorough, professional and his years of experience shows. A very pleasant fella who doesn't mind my inquisitive dogs. Next time I need help I'll be asking for Ed at Clark & Rush. I’ve had Clark and Rush doing semi-annual maintenance on my 6-year old split heat pump HVAC system since I moved into my current home three years ago. They have always been on time, with plenty of confirmations beforehand, entirely professional, thorough in their checks, and knowledgeable when I had any questions. The one time the system broke down on me they were able to come out and repair it within 24 hours.

I had Clarke and Rush install a new heating/air conditioner combo unit 4 years ago. They had the best price and I was happy with the install. So because my A/C was not cooling as efficiently this season as it had been in the past 3 years, I just signed up for their yearly maintenance plan and a technician came out to do maintenance, cleaning and inspection of my unit. So far so good. But I was shocked to learn that I had a refrigerant leak and likely needed a new evaporation coil, not due to any fault of the company, but I was unprepared for the considerable expense this would entail, so I needed some time to think about it. A couple of days later, I called to get a quote for the entire cost of the part and labor sent to me by email, or even a return phone call, and was told my request would be sent to the service manager and that I would hear back from him. Well, I tried calling three more times over the next couple of days and still zero response. I have another company lined up now to do this work and they have provided me with tons of information surrounding the issue. They seemed to care and seemed more professional. They also have excellent reviews. Sorry, Clarke and Rush...you don’t want my business and that suits me fine.

Ray and Ed called me way ahead of the appointment to let me know what time they'd be at the house. They arrived exactly around the time they said they would. They took their time to put on PPE including shoe covers. They spent plenty of time to thoroughly check my HVAC system in and outside the house and found leaks from my condenser coils. They then explained what the problem was and what the next steps were. Their customer service rep contacted me immediately to set up an appointment with a tech rep who would provide me with specific details of different options and their related costs. Clarke and Rush staff are very professional all around! I highly recommend them!

Sales and install were great; however since that time, May of 2021 it's been crickets. I've never received my packet of info so that I may schedule an inspection with my City. I've called repeatedly and never receive a call back. Then they had a 3rd party inspector come out without advising me ahead of time and boy, was he a piece of work. I wanted a certain brand of system so I went with C&R, however for any service going forward I'll go back to Bell Bros. I think my new $11,000 system has some mechanical issues but I'll wait till it craps out I guess.

We had an emergency problem in the bathroom with the bathtub, sink, and toilet. We called Roto-rooter and when they didn't show up for a long time we decided to call Clarke for help and they showed up in 10 minutes. The worker was very helpful and polite. Amazing service. Recommend for emergency services.

Had an issue with outside heat pump frosting. Service man came and first thing he said is this is an old unit and you if the r22 freon is very expensive ie hundreds of dollars. I said would just go ahead a do your diagnostic pls and we can talk. He was preping me and his attitude was you are ikely going need a new A/C unit. He finally said I adjusted the defrosting from 90min to 50min. It my tuneup $77 took 15min. He did solve the problem but attitude was not professional. Will never use them even when we in need of a new HVAC system!
