This is the most unprofessional service I have EVER dealt with. I was assigned this company through American Home sheild. They came out a total of 5 times to fix my AC . After 2 no shows and 3 late service calls. Over a month without AC in July and August in Fresno. The AC is working. We are left with exposed wires sticking out of the top of the unit.The last trip out the service guy hung up on me.SO UNPROFESSIONAL...PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
I received a text message on Friday, 10/22 at 2:53 pm that my service was scheduled for Monday 10/25 between 8-12. I immediately replied to the text message as instructed and called because that time did not work with my schedule. As of the 25th I had not received any call back or notice of reschedule so I called again. Someone called me back later on the 25th saying that my service was rescheduled to the 27th for 8-12. I told them that was perfect, and someone would be there. On the 26th I received a text message saying that my service has been rescheduled to the 28th from 8-12. I replied to the text message and tried to call because I was told the 27th. I again received no call back. On the 27th, my husband was home from 8-12 and no one showed up. He left since no one showed up and had been waiting all morning, so we assumed they would come on the 28th from 8-12. On the 27th at 12:33pm I received a text message saying that someone was on their way. I called my husband and he headed back to the house. At 12:48 I received a text saying that the service has been completed. No one ever came to our house or rang the doorbell, and no one ever called. The service was never completed. I have called the company several times as has my home warranty company and Standlee will not call us back.
The whole experience was horrifying to say the least. My A/C unit stopped working on a Sunday. I placed the service call through the AHS website, being sent to a company that couldn’t get to me until Friday. It’s triple digits in my location and I have a special needs child. Had to call several numbers, waiting approximately an hour before I was able to speak with someone from AHS for assistance. They sent the service call to StandLee in Visalia which couldn’t help until Wednesday. They came out, spending 10 minutes to tell me what was wrong with it stating, “ . . . it the fan motor which we have to go back to the shop to get. We will have to reschedule to come back out to bring the part to fix it. The receptionist will have to reschedule for another day because we have other service calls . . . “This was not acceptable due to my husband and I taking time off work to deal with this matter and had to make arrangements for my son’s care. They didn’t care for any of that, which is very upsetting. I have never dealt with since incompetence. As I attempted to call AHS again for outside authorization, my husband contacted a local company, Shaw’s A/C and heating, and they came out and fixed my unit in 40 minutes and even did a total check up as a courtesy. Whenever I get my reimbursement for the parts, time will tell. However, at this point, we needed our unit running, regardless of how it has cost us $800 to fix when it was covered through AHS from the start. In regards to StandLee, I would not recommend them to anyone for any kind of service, to where any insurance company should not use these people who, from the majority of their reviews, are milking people and insurance companies of money for incompetent service. If I could give the the experience a zero star rating, I would.
These people came out before and fix my heater and i was pleased. Now my cooler went out so i called my insurance again and they requested them out i just did not want to wait like last time out. but they called me the same day as i called my insurance and scheduled me the next day. after that jack came to my home and that was the tech assigned to my home. he went up there and also checked in the attic of my house to make sure the pipes were good up there. he found my freon was low and a small part needed changed so he fixed it withion 30 min my house was nice and cool. i will use them in future needs. i would also like to say i looked into other companies before calling my insurance and there wait time was alot longer good job insurance and to this company for doing a great job. the owner called me the day after to make sure it was working and it was. thank you
If I could give zero stars I would. My home warranty company sent them out to fix my AC last year in August. They came out said that it didn’t have any Freon and charged me for almost 5 pounds of Freon and stated that they did not see a leak but it may be a small one so they added stopped leak. Fast forward to three days ago when I turned on the AC it did not work it blew warm air. Are used a different home warranty company and they sent out another AC company there was an old crack in a copper line causing a leak so I had no Freon and according to the new company my air conditioner only holds 3.8 pounds of Freon. So Standlee not only missed a huge crack in a copper pipe but also overcharged me for freon. I will never do business with them again taking a bandage of people is one of my biggest pet peeves and I feel should never be done especially on something like that where in the central valley you have to have air conditioning. Do not use this company
A very reliable company.workers are very friendly and trustworthy to let in your house,very hard workers who get the job done at a reasonable and affordable price. the girl who booked my appointment for them to come out to fix my A/C was a lady by the name of Brandi who was very helpful and friendly she's a awesome person .in assisting me over the phone my big shootouts to them and to the two workers Freeman and Josh for being very good at thier jobs and getting my A/C fixed. great family company and very reliable and dependable.

A week later the same service tech was sent back out and diagnosed a different problem which needed a part...fast forward to today, 60 days after the second visit from the tech AND I still HAVE NOT received the part. I try to call and get voicemail almost every time. I leave a message and have to call back. I text the number and there is no response; sometimes a phone call. I AM STILL OUT AN AIR CONDITIONER! I would not recommend.
Great company with great communication and mechanic skills! They come out in a timely manner ordered part same day had the install with in the next day and boom heater works!! they also came out last summer and same story diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner. Never had another company be so fast and efficient. feeling pleased and thankful for Standlee company!
I initially gave Standlee HVAC company a great review but the repair lasted less than a day. I had a second company “Air Technology” reevaluate my unit three days after Standee completed the repair. “Air Technology” tech Immediately noticed that a cover panel was left on top of the unit; it had been removed by the Standlee Tech and was not replaced on the unit thus exposing critical electrical component to the elements, it’s worth noting that it had been raining for the past 48 hours and I was present during the initial inspection and witnessed first hand that the cover was on top of unit and not placed back. Air Technology also determined that other components ( heating coils) in the unit were also faulty and needed to be replaced. The part is on order and my unit is on its way to being correctly repaired.
My home warranty company contracted with Standlee, I didn't call them. After 2 months of trying to get my AC fixed, I finally took a payout from the warranty company and called my own repair company. I was told by Standlee that my motor wasnt available numerous times, all of which I had to contact them since they don't call their customers for anything,Even when they miss appointments, which is often, anyway, this real AC company came out and looked at the mess that was left by Standlee and was dumbfounded at what they did. All the wires were cut and the wire harness was missing, but this other company had the motor I needed temporarily until a new one came in. A new wiring harness had to be ordered at a cost of 500 dollars,so, not only did standlee not fix my problem, but they cost me an extra 500 dollars to boot, I had to pick up my blower assembly and put it back together, my recommendation, Do Not go with this company, you'll regret it in the end
