I usually don't write reviews but Scott went above and beyond for us and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him for anything HVAC related!

Scott likes perfection. I'm an engineer and was experiencing a noisy fan on a 20 year old unit. I called the first service guy who say I had dangerous CO leakage and needed to replace it immediately. My BS radar went up and I immediately dug into HVAC science and specifically got on HVAC-Talk to see what I was dealing with. I dug into this area enough to know who the scammers were. I found Scott as the only local contractor listed on HVAC Talk and I noticed on his website that he is a Carbon Monoxide Safety Specialist as well. So I had him come out and let's say I learned a lot. After deciding a new unit was in order, I got 6 bids. Some were easily dismissed due to price. A few were just glossing over by quoting the same size unit without regards to what the challenges were, and how technology had changed.

Scott met all of my needs from a technical perspective, and truly knows HVAC inside out. He replaced the noisy fan that was the cause of the first service call, after it finally failed. Just a temporary fix so that we had heat while we worked out the details of the new system.

I wanted a smart thermostat such as a NEST or Ecobee. Many of the HVAC contractors basically bad mouth them and push the house brand. Scott was fine with whatever I wanted, but could talk to the pros/cons of each. Ended up with an Ecobee, which we love.

I also wanted a highly efficient state-of-the-art system which required a additional venting to the outside. Scott spent considerable time figuring out how this could be done with the configuration of the current systems and basement.

We found there were challenges with the original ventwork and that the furnace was being starved for supply air. I am confident this would not have been tested by any of the other contractors. Scott performed (as promised) a full Manual J test on my house. We found some areas to address to fix airleakage and make the furnace not have to work so hard.

In the end, I got a superior system, with re-engineered ductwork, for the price quoted. That price was mid-range, but included a lot more thought and "craft" if you will, then even the highest quotes.

Thus the name Air Craft.

I won't hesitate to recommend Scott, especially for the discerning homeowner or those who have real problems

Furnace was out on a Saturday in freezing weather. Showed up in a couple of hours from calling. Went well above and beyond with some small things that were not called for and not noticed through a personal inspection Fixed the problem quickly. Overall excellent. Honest, reliable, fair prices and friendly!!

Great Company! I called because my AC unit was shut off when I got home. I noticed a box on the side with the circuit had a solid red led and the air wasn't turning on. I called Air Craft and the man on the phone was super helpful on telling me exactly what he thought it was. It was a Xcel smart saver. I called Xcel and had them turn it off and bam! it came back on. Saved me a lot of money to get it checked out. I will definitely be using them in future service and repairs!

Scheduled an appointment. No one showed up. No one called me before with a warning or explanation. No one left a text or voicemail to explain... until 3 days later with a sorry. I got another company to do the job a week later.
